I think Parting helped him with these strategies. He said in the post game interview that Parting helped him a lot, and he focused on his PvP to advance today.

It feels alright, because PvP is basically about the openings and luck. I was lucky today, and I'm not feeling anything special.
You managed to break through from a group with 3 Korean players.
I felt before the games that qualifying would be very difficult, but when I won the first game I gained confidence and was able to make it out of the group eventually.
Unfortunately, you lost to Polt in the winner's match.
I feel that it was normal to lose. Polt in tournaments is completely different from in practice. He is really very good.
In the loser's match, Crank almost seemed to deliberately lose to Alicia to let Alicia face up against you.
It's the same no matter who it is if it's PvP. Perhaps Crank thought that he was playing poorly today, and wanted to let his team mate vie with me for the qualifying spot.
You'll match up against Jaedong again in the round of 8. Are you confident of winning against him again?

I was really panicky then. I couldn't make calls on my mobile phone, and I couldn't understand English, and after I found someone to lend me their phone so I could give Edison a call, I still couldn't get through to him. After that, I thought of using Wifi, but I realise I couldn't access QQ (T/N: I think this is the Chinese equivalent of twitter). In the end, I could only post on the forums, and after that Edison came to pick me up.
MacSed wished you good luck in his interview yesterday, and you won. Do you have anything to say to him today?
