We could watch, what he wanted to do, how he was doing it and how he succeeded. Amazing. And so were the other games. Killer instinct. i agree, having nice plays that are easy to follow is what makes esports enjoyable for everybody. it's what we grew to love when we first watched. so smart. a multi tiered plan to attack.

From my memory, Classic, herO, Stats, Parting, Squirtle all lost their game (although those are all great games). Overall sOs is not as good as in HotS, but seems like his phoenix control and timing are always outstanding for some reason.

I only count offline tournaments, best of 3+ and from last year Blizzcon till now. He is 75% win in matches, only lose to Neeb (GSL vs the World), Zest (SSL 1 though I don't think it counts since he sucks at SSL 1) and Billowy (however he won the rematch). http://aligulac.com/players/110/results/?after=2016-11-30&before=&event=&race=p&country=all&bestof=3&offline=offline&game=all&wcs_season=&wcs_tier=&op=

Winning over Solar (Z), Stats(P) and Bogus(T) in playoff will be another great story.

2. Both have carried their race since 2013 and kept the highest offline winrates (all match-ups over 60%, both games and matches) against Korean among their race till now. 3. Both have offline title(s) every year since 2013 (if sOs win something this year). 4. Two time Blizzcon champion VS. two time GSL champion. Any other hype you can name? At this point I only hope great games in final, can't wait for next Saturday...

As long as he does better than ByuN (and maybe Maru and Solar), he should be at BC. The good thing is he is invited for ST2 so he doesn't need to go through qualification.

He manages to make to GSL final so he should be able to advance to at least Ro8 of ST2.

When the process is left to chance, you know the game is over, this is an universal truth not only for SC2.
