It's unintentional and has nothing to do with politics. They rays where yellow in the first version (like a sun) but it didn't look too good that way. I changed it to the teamcolors and that's where it ended up now... The reason for the rays is because he is an extremely happy kid (at least when he doesn't have to eat food he doesn't like)... and he has a great great winnersmile =) and if you ever took a look into a manga or anime, when they show that sign or a thumb it's like "BOOM", the picture stops and the rays come from everywhere. It's more like that than your political thoughts... not everything in the world is about representing your country, sometimes it's just a running gag and about having fun showing emotions :-P ;-) What i can agree on is that the japanese symbol u mean expresses the sun too... the thing about it is that in most cultures around the globe thats exactly the symbol for a sun... a point in the middle and rays that spread from the middle. It's nothing japan invented. They just took the symbol for a sun into their flag because they were from the "land of the rising sun". So that's the coincident you are looking for, not me working a flag into a picture. EDIT: Let's be democratic and let fans of the fanclub decide, i guess that's the best way to do stuff like this: Poll: Is the Fanclub graphic insulting/should it be changed? I like the style of the fanclub, it should stay the way it is. (7) Regardless of the stuff people could understand wrong i want the graphics to be reworked.
