The metagame completely fucked up a few Terran openers vs Zerg. Gasless ice fisher builds could now easily defend any potential harassment from hellion expands.and reaper expands when "defending hellions" wasn't exactly a problem for players pre-patch. If you watched the Stephano vs Polt series in Lone Star Clash, you'd see masterful defence against hellions pre-Queen buff. When I watched his games against Keen in TSL4 I noticed a lot of them ended in Infestor Brood Lord late games. Granted, this was the one-dimensional meta of Wings at the time but the patchzerg era still leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. I'm actually happy JonnyRecco didn't turn out to be 'just another patchzerg.' Britain needs a decent Zerg representative - we already have Bling representing Protoss and Demuslim representing Terran - and I genuinely think he's far better than Ziktomini. | ||
