TY was up 2-0 against herO then died to a blink allin in g3, threw an 80-40 army supply lead in g4, and a 60-30 supply lead in g5.

He decided to take his games against herO to late game, his area of expertise, and he could have certainly won game 4 or 5. But I (like TY himself) have to give props to herO, he played very strong PvT even in the late game. I didn't expect TY to beat herO in the best of 5 to begin with, so I'm happy that their series at least was very even. The most upsetting thing really is the fact that he got reverse swept again.

So I'm guessing he spends most of his practice time in that phase of the game. I said this in the other thread, but his problem is choking as soon as he loses a map. It seems he gets so many X-0 wins, and his losses are a lot of reverse sweeps. It's fine to lose to the odd cheese, but he shouldn't let it tilt him.

He said that he doesn't ever get tilted and that it was a problem because he doesn't treat the games seriously enough (so no extra focus when his back is against the wall).

The "treating games seriously enough" might be a thing. Given the only times he's won tournaments are for 2 of the biggest money ones. Hard to not take a match seriously when it's for $200K (TY blizzcon winner baby) That being said, I still think he chokes. He goes through so many matches without losing a map, and then when he loses one he tilts. I can't see any other explanation (unless he flat gives up)

Winner's interview (second place) in GSL Group H. If you don't believe TY when he's talking about himself, I don't know what to say.
