I actually didn't watch the games yet, but Last is a beast atm so i wasn't 100% confident tbh (in my head it was like 55:45). Imo this match was the real 'final' though, Last wins this now (and Flash would have won it) | ||

While I have to concede that Last managed to get a good early advantage in all three games, I don't want to take away from the fact that Last outplayed Flash on every level. It is scary how good Last is right now, and I think he'll stomp his way to the championship. There were a lot of people who voted for Flash to take this, but I think that was based more on his history (you know, of actually being God and everything) than on his current form. Flash only came back to Brood War somewhat recently, while Last has been killing it for some time. I also watched Last's handiwork in group play (and versus practice partners on stream) and he is a monster. Flash himself has said that Last is the best SC/BW player currently, and I believe it. Hopefully this spurs Flash into action. Perhaps the new ASL sponsors will make the prize pool next season substantial enough for everyone to start taking their practice a bit more seriously. | ||
