The key word being 'attempt' ![]() Is there any more news on Scarlett's team, or on future show matches? I really enjoyed watching her series against Kas, for all that she lost, and can't wait to see how she deals with early terran agression now that she's had time to work the bumps out.

I don't necessarily agree with you there Joan.. the reason why I think many people are interested in her is because she has A LOT of unlocked potential. She was able to compete competitively with Korean and foreign players on pro teams when at the time she had none.. she didn't have the luxury of a 'coach' that studied the game as a living, professional players to practice with, nor perhaps even the time these pro players devote to SC2. She will only get better and her performance at IPL4 only showcases her success without these luxuries. What she lacked then and potentially now are consistent professional practice partners. She just caught the attention of good players only 2 months ago. During her short stint with Eclypsia (and after), I'm sure she probably has an erratic and perhaps aimless practice regimen because as of now, she has no coach or definitive group of players to consistently analyze her game and help her identify/improve on the areas where she's lacking. She's probably not used to pro-level Terran play and her series with Kas could highlight this. I think she just needs good practice partners and direction that a good team would provide her to have her preform at the level we expect to see. That said, I, and I'm sure many other people and teams, believe she could make it to Code A. Anyways, off-topic but I really want to see her eventually play/practice with Jinro!! I think that'd be a good match up.. someone contact him! lol

In time, and with a good team, I'm sure that her skills will improve.

Illusion is way younger, with way better results, and his fan club doesn't have tenth the number of replies that this fanclub has.

The explosion of posts happened at IPL4 because no one heard of her and she beat a Korean. There was a build up of hype for Illusion over a few months so when he finally beat a Korean in a LAN it was not a huge surprise. This is a VERY significant reason. Also since then there has been about 15 or so dedicated posters in this fanclub + Scarlett has been communicating most of her news and other info through here. In other words there are reasons other than a player's skill or potential (or gender!!!) that their fanclub receives so many posts. Get over it and start posting more content in Illusion's fanclub. Of course it's also because people like you come in here every 10 pages to whine about how many pages her fanclub has.

About Illusion : I knew about him so long ago man, and when I saw him in IPL TAC (Vile vs FXO), I knew he was going to be a top player. Scarlett : No one knew of her existence in SC2 before IPL4, all she has done is win 1-2 Iron Lady and right before IPL4, the Playhem ''Sponsor Me'' tournament. They're tournaments with so few followers that no one paid much attention.
