Battle Report:

I noticed corpuscle and PlagueWasp having a conversation in the Scarlett Fan Club and frantically counted down the posts to notice they were at 16. I got excited. I counted again. I mean, it's about an award that I made up. A very prestigious award I will have you know.

I realized this is getting close. I imagined that PlagueWasp and corpuscle would soon realize too and decided that only top notch post micro can secure me the win in this prestigious competition.

At post 17 I came up with the most evil mastermind scheme ever to be seen when it comes to post micro on TL. Like ever.

I planted a very deliberate decoy post on position 18:



The reasoning behind it was to keep both competitors for the first post on page 200 busy trying to remember what my prediction was and maybe even trying to go back and find it.

During this time I opened a new tab (this is Grandmaster league post micro, don't worry if you can't do it. Focus on your post macro first before you start doing fancy stuff like that). I pre-wrote and edited a post that would be the the first one on page 200. This was extremely important because it can't just be a sloppy post without any editing. It needs high level editing to actually be meaningful. The superb micro (editing, tabbing and F5'ing the page where I checked for replies to post number 18 on page 199) should be the deciding factor.

Then it happened.



PlagueWasp is just too good at Scarlett Fan Club knowledge. He remembered a prior prediction which threw me off shortly. My game plan didn't work as intended. Here lies the difference between a Grandmaster post microer and the rest. I was quickly able respond to this surprising turn of events (one could compare it to a cloaked Banshee in the base and no Evolution chamber in sight). I realized this was post number 19 of 20 posts per page.

I selected the tab with the thread open. I knew this had to be quick. (400 APM at least... what am I saying, EAPM) I resized the window to take up 3/4th's of my screen while still frantically F5'ing. I then quickly resized the tab with the 200th page post and resized it to take up the 1/4gh of the screen that was left.

This is the moment. Brace yourselves: I align the tabs in such a way that both "Post" buttons are on one level, fairly close to each other. I reply to PlagueWasp with:



You might wonder why exactly "Indeed". Fairly simple. I had to F5, then write something really quickly, hence "Indeed" and then hit post both in the tab with the "Indeed" post and then move my mouse over about 2 centimeters to hit the second post button for the winning post.

Because I didn't want any of my competitors to feel bad I had also decided to put in the line "Did I do it?" even though I knew they never had a chance. But saying that would be BM so I decided not to do that.

The most beautiful thing about this whole thing is that I made someone happy.
