Symbol remains one of the most consistent and high reaching Zergs around in GSL. INoVation is an uphill battle though, but if Symbol prepares enough, he has a chance.

I think he'll need some cool new stuff. Innovation's never letting a Nydus up in his main even if he is distracted, for example.

Symbol always gets difficult Ro4 opponents, but he proved he could overcome his ZvZ weakness against Curious, and maybe he can pull it off against INoVation. I'm favoring INoVation rationally, but in my heart, I would love it if Symbol could do it again. Good luck Symbol, you will need that and a bit more just to defeat INoVation.

Symbol progresses into the Ro16 in the OSL, proving his consistency beyond the GSL. Though he wasn't playing at his best (in an interview he said he was only playing at 30% of his skill) he still defeated Curious and Shine again, which is pretty nice considering his supposed weakness in ZvZ. As long as he can improve his ZvP for the future, he should be good to go for the rest of OSL.

Best of luck against PartinG in OSL! Knowing Symbol, his consistency is always going to shine, and against a recently PvZ weak PartinG, I think Symbol can take this with extensive preparation.

Symbol played very well today by defeating PartinG 2-1. His macro was excellent and composition against what PartinG threw were finely tuned against them. So far good progress in OSL.
