Poor Maru. Maybe he can take SSL next year. As for GSL results, he plays better in a format where he can prepare (even though it doesn't make a lot of sense for him it seems to be true for this season at least) so hopefully he can clinch a top 4 or 8 spot this season. Hopefully he can take games off of Zest/Super and prove that he's the true champ.

Idk if I just miss life and parting and all the happy times last year or if the system really was better
But I'm on the edge of becoming a wcs system hater. IEM Taipei 2015 was just so good that I wish we'd still have those tourneys
But who knows mb suddenly a kespa cup gets announced and it becomes just as epic

Maru has already won SSL. If he wins GSL this season he might become the first triple starleague champion in Starcraft (GSL, OSL, SSL).

We still have Proleague and GSL! I think Blizzard sorely needs to look at a change to adepts (and I say this as a Protoss player) they seem to be just auto-win for Protoss atm.

His play in SSL just wasn't as good as in Proleague or Code A. So he probably had a bad day. Everyone has them. Otherwise he'd not have lost a map to Losira or Reality. And that had nothing to do with balance or the format either.

In respect of SSL. Maru is a player that when he has time to prepare he can destroy anyone. The format is new and he had played his (amazing) code A games just the day before and had Proleague games close to SSL too. He just had a bad day and the format is new for the players. Wouldn't be too concerned about it but annoying that he's not in SSL.
