Homestory Cup! Home to the cosiest tournament in universe. It's more than just a tournament! It's about competing, mingling, making new friends, discussing about the game but most important of ALL....... HAVING FUN and entertaining the viewers!
If i was a pro player this tournament would be very high on my list of what tournaments to attend.
With that being said i welcome all of you who loves Homestory Cup to join this fanclub.
HSC 4 will be the best tournament of 2012. Please prove me wrong and this year will be awesome because it's the best sc2 tournament i've ever watched :D
Sign me in pls! Homestorycup is the best tournament out there by far and nothing can ever beat it, until the nex HSC arrives I will cry tomorrow when the tournament is finished, because it is so awesome. Thank you TaKe, the HSC-Team, the players, the casters, stay as awesome as you are.

Does this mean i should add you to the fanclub?
Of course. It's my only fan club so far and it ain't even a player! I know
I never join fanclubs because i love so many players i would have to join 30+ fanclubs if i start doing it... But you're right, this one totally deserves it Please, add me sir !
Just so good to watch all the players having fun time BEING THEMSELVES, playing poker chilling out being really relaxed!! Which is key for me to see who is really good when the pressure is off.
PLUS the casting oh my word! So good every homestory cup it just amazing casters. MKP MC Reiss this time, last time we had Demu Idra Rottie casting man i loved that!
I love Homestory Cup, it is great to have the players compete, but in a more relaxed atmosphere. It is also nice to remember that there is life outside of Tastosis in terms of casting, and the international array of players who sit down to cast games, give a very global perspective on how the game is developing in terms of tactics and strategy.
This tournament isn't just a tournament where everything evolves around the games, no, it's so familiar and brings such a nice and warm feeling to the fans who are able to see the pros joking around all the time, having fun and stuff. It's such a gem because you got "bad" commentators quite often but nobody cares because players actually commentate and give you a rare insight of everything that is happening. You aren't biting your nails because the games are ultra well commentated, you sweat blood and tears because you can feel the passion of those players who talk. It's so rare to see a cheering MC as a commentator or a screaming Dimaga. This makes you feel that you got a second family.
I thought no one could do better than what IPL3 gave us, as long as entertainment is concerned. But to be honest, i think i've never laughed that much while watching a tournament. Making players cast is amasing. Moman, MC, MKP, incontrol are beasts for casting. Let's not forget dBlinG Players don't seem angry after losing, and stay at the house for fun, that's freaking awesome.
Huge thanks to all the crew, what you are doing is legendary
Never missed a minute of the HSCs. It's so nice to see the players having so much fun there. The atmosphere of this event is just incomparable to anything else. Hopefully we will get many more HSCs.
Probably my favorite tournament. (Not just this one in particular, but HSC in general). Then again that's hard to say when MLG and IPL offer a different but very impressive tournament as well. Keep up the amazing work, and please keep hosting these tournaments TaKe!
Add me to the fan list plz. This is the best tournament in sc2. I've watched every minute of it I could. I am sad WhiteRa couldn't be there. Can't wait until the next HSC!!!!

Yeah it's truly amazing and very special. It's like a rare gem you only get to see once a year. It's like a wet dream for both players and spectators
sign me up, Allthough my main man Thorzain dident do well i still love to watch the games with the awesome commentating and the great atmosphere. *probably the best Esports tournament in the world*
im in. easily the best tournament format ever. if i ever hit the lotto i want to try and put together something similar in the united states, just build a sick gaming house, hire a production crew, put up a sick prize pool and just let the fun begin.
the best part for me is just seeing everyone's personalities and watching them interact. makes it even better when the beers are flowing. plus its great to see players cast that dont usually cast. and of course the games have been pretty sick.
Sadly I didn't get to watch that much this year but the last couple have been amazing going to sit back and enjoy the finals!! Homestory is the best tournament I just love everything about it.
Sign me up! I was in tears laughing throughout every MC/MKP cast and when Bling was smashed xD truly an amazing tournament! Fucking can't wait for number 5!
One of the few SC2 tournaments I never miss, sign me up. Always feels like a big family gathering even from just the viewers perspective, very unique in that aspect.
HS3 I was so surprised that it was just as good as these major leagues with far more money, design, and support and now HS4 was the most well done tournament I've ever seen. I have to say the best part is the triple casting done from such pro gamers, hearing mc and incontrol among others do great analysis with a laid back atmosphere was such win. I just want to show my support for such an awesome job and I hope the other leagues try to incorporate this type of culture and atmosphere into their own.
bumping the HSC fanclub with the first info about HSC5: the next event has been confirmed by TaKe, it's going to take place from 5th to 8th of July 2012 this is going to be a long three months of waiting, already looking forward to more informations soon

Everyone has been signed up. If you want to quickly know where you are on the list just go to the letter your nickname starts with because it's all in alphabetical order.
I kinda feel like this Threads needs to get a little push... come on, first day over and no one asking for being added? I sense people don't know about this one.
Perhaps you can even improve HSC, something you could perhaps improve is:
- Make sure that the "big matches" are being casted or led by Rotterdam and/or MrBitter. I mean it's awesome to hear people like Dimaga and MC cast, but there should be someone guiding the player casters.
- I think one of the reasons a lot of people like watching HSC besides the matches, is to see how the pro players talk, joke, laugh or can't stand eachother, so perhaps some more video feed on that subject.
- Furthermore, after a certain BO3 is done, too often I hear/see the casters guessing or wondering whether they will go to a break, an interview or another match. Perhaps some more clear instructions or directions, could make the show more smooth.
Thank you very much Dennis for this awesome event!! Hope the sponsors are happy (I recently bought a XMG notebook and you can find some good sleep tonight, after these stressful days!!
The three HomeStory Cups that I have watched (which are also the last three to have happened) have all been amazing; each one somehow managing to be even better than its precedent. There's definitely a different aura to this tournament that cannot be matched by any other and while some parts of it might seem "unprofessional" to some, to me all of it is high quality entertainment.
Massive thank you to TaKe and his crew for being total bosses and I hope they can continue to deliver us more of this amazing content in the future.
An amazing journey was experienced once again. This tournament grips you in like no other. Truly an amazing concept, BRILLIANTLY executed by TaKe and his crew.
GG to all the players, and once again to Dennis, who's just incredible at what he does.
Whoever thought that letting the players and crew cast all the games was the right move is a genius. No other tournament allows us to get a good feel of the players personalities like this one. I love watching some of the serious tournaments but i also love how this tournament was all about having fun. I was entertained and will definitely keep an eye out for the next tournament.
I really like HSC, but this years some advertissment make me cut the stream again and again. I understand the need of advertissment for ROI purpose, i'm oki with shutting adblock down for some website I support, but a more than 5 minutes ad with a girls in a chair.... make 3 small / funnny add and you get to me, make one bad, too long add and you repulse me !
I really don't think any Tournament can overthrow HSC for personality.
I'm sure there will be better production out there. DH does an amazing job in that department, but the fact that HSC is only the pros at the actual Tournament is going to be really hard to beat because the players can be very relaxed and more off guard when playing & everything. It's more player-friendly for obvious reasons & it gives the tournament a unique personality that's going to be nigh impossible to beat.
Unless DH creates some type of player-only event, nothing is going to top the experience of HSC for me.

Great job by Take, as usual.
There's the option to skip an ad after x seconds on twitch.tv . you should use it.
Once again, thank you Take & co. for putting together another awesome HSC.
The special thing about HSC is that you've managed to really put faces/personalities on the names we fans rarely get to see. I know little other than results of Tarson and Tod, but for me these two impressed me tons in HSC 5 (just like Hasu, Grubby, Darkforce in HSC 4). Now I'm left disappointed for the wait on the next HSC. Hopefully a bunch of my favorites return (and you need to get Select in there as well!).
