So sad that IPL5 has no protoss in top 8 T_T.. they really should do something about the balance.

Sure, but you have to remember that all players at the event had to qualify to get there, so the 50 % Protoss representation was due to to Protosses doing well either at previous events throughout the year, or doing well in the BYOC qualifier. Not trying to make a balance statement here, just pointing out that it's not all pitch black. ![]()

I mean, personally I'm a Sad Zealot, not because Protoss aren't winning things, but I'm seeing far too many of the matches I don't like, vs the ones I do. There's just a kind of falloff in Terrans and Protoss in relation to the numbers of Zergs, so my favourite matchup to watch, PvT is comparatively rare. That's a personal preference, and many of you may hate PvT with a passion, but it's about some semblance of balance in matchup occurences, or the absence of this, especially towards the latter stages of a tournament.

In any case PvZ has design flaws more than balance issues. Protoss can be quite successful doing 2 and 3-base all-ins. But that is the only thing that works and nothing else. It's a design problem making the MU extremely frustrating.

Still a bunch of open slots from Up and Downs. Although... I guess it's never too early to start fanning the flames... right???

I guess it's never too early to start fanning the flames... right??? That's true, if all ten slots of Up&Downs get won by Protosses, then we will have a slightly above average (above 1/3 of the spots) P representation in the next season! I think we can safely assume that won't happen though, but let's wait and see, maybe the miracle happens. I hope at least Hero, Younghwa and Squirtle/MC make it.

Maybe HuK, one of the original protoss to break through when the Sad Zealot was most sad, can bring some hope back to Aiur!

And we can write off Huk and probably Flying (0-4 in PL so far, 3-9 since October in SC2). So.. finale?

So.. finale? I refuse to write off Huk! Go go Huk! Last time there were only 5 Protoss in GSL it was Huk who made round of 16 I believe!
