+ Show Spoiler +TSL isn't the greatest metric for balance, since it pits relatively untested foreigners against solid Koreans. Were you expecting Welmu to beat Keen, or elfi to beat Life in the Bo5? The only major upset was Naniwa losing to JRecco, but that was totally Naniwa's fault, not balance.
Remember, GSL October had 1 Protoss in the Ro16 (Killer), who was promptly 2-0ed by Coca (100% vP winrate in GSL in 2011). MC, the Protoss standard bearer, had just been knocked into Code B. Back in those days, most Protoss didn't have a damn chance against a Terran who could prepare ahead of time in a multi-game series.

edit. I forgot Vampire still has to play. I'm assuming he doesn't make it through because he's the weakest player in Code S imo and if not the weakest overall, he's the weakest protoss. I'm assuming he won't make it through but I guess crazier stuff has happened

Did Legend of the Fall apply to MSL as well? Still worked for OSL this year. I guess GSL is immune

Who else is ready for a season full of ZvZ? Anyone?
Also: I want to point out we still have WCS but the high protoss representation was thanks to the earlier rounds.
And the legend of the fall for OSL rang true in every way. Map pool favours protoss and protoss wins

Protoss players ares just playing bad. look at Squirtle, the micro against bogus was so worst then he used to do.

Yes and no. Yes, Squirtle didn't play like his normal self, and finished last. That doesn't change the fact that PvZ is pretty imbalanced lategame, just look at HerO vs Soulkey. HerO vs Leenock. Or most lategame PvZ's.
Now, where's the Sad Marine fanclub? All these foreign tournaments + Terran winrates against both P and Z in code S sofar make me abit sad.

Terran can still more reliably outskill an opponent, even if a match-up might be imbalanced.

Sign me up TT Protoss may be a lot worse than the other 2 races. Protoss might be a lot harder to play than the other 2 races. But damn it, I have self respect.

The poor guy.

To be honest, every time i see more then 7 infestors with full energy, i just leave the game.

woooooo, shout out on the [code S] Ro32 Final day preview

The issue wasn't that only Killer advanced. It was that Killer was also not that good and had no hope of winning anything. No Protoss even looked capable of winning macro games against high-tier Z/T of the time.
This time we have Parting and Creator advancing, who would be favoured in a number of top-tier matchups and can certainly play long games, and Rain still looking in dominating form from OSL/MLG.
It's more like the other GSL protosses need to get on the Rain School of Standard Play bandwagon.

I really do think this is just a fluke GSL, Protoss players have looked pretty good in the vT series I've seen, but a lot of our leading lights have run up against the Zerg wall.
