This is true, Leenock is very close to the Nestea Award (10 Code S Seasons in a row). The upcoming season will be his 8th. If IMMVP makes it to Code S next season he will get his own Nestea award. But except for MVP and Nestea, Leenock is third in the line. If he just stays in Code S he will be the third player to achieve it (correct me if I am wrong, but couldn't find anyone closer than him and MVP). The Nestea award is an award for consistancy so..
+ The fact he is awesome at delivering at foreign events!
Yeah I think it's safe to say that he is the best player that never won a gsl at this point (sorry mkp) and #3 zerg all-time. He is getting close to DRG, but the GSL title is still missing. Man, I'm still mad at jjakji for playing the best series of his life on that day.
Leenock's early runs in GSL has been some of the unluckiest and most devastating possible. No doubt that the high level of competition from the start has put him on another level \o/ So damn good
Zerg is just unstoppable this year, with Leenock leading the Swarm, being the toughest opponent to take out.
I feel a bit bad for Terran and Protoss, who do have equal talent but the current state of the game makes them getting punished so hard against Zerg with only the smallest mistake.
anyways, glad for Leenock he suffered a lot the past years, OPPA LEENOCK STYLE !
For the people who missed it, this was one of my favourite games during this weekend. It's a very short game but awesome.
Also updated my interview post on the previous page with an interview with CSN where Leenock speak english the entire interview. Also updated with a post win interview with Slasher.
