To remember that fan club threads of people who really weren't considered high profile used to be closed not that long ago. I think even Destiny had a fan club thread closed for that reason as well. Now this whole forum section has become a joke really. Oh and by the way, as I read this in quite a few posts - comparisons to Tossgirl are silly. Tossgirl actually trained hard for years, and while she wasn't an A team level player, she deserves huge respect for being an actual progamer, and is still the only female progamer in my eyes at least. | ||

Someone needs to explain how the hell does Sporrer/Eve deserves a fan club. I think it was Chill who closed Destiny's fan club. Why doesn't he also close this or Sporrer's thread until they actually do anything meaningful like they did to Destiny. I'm no fan of Destiny, but one thing I hate are double standards. | ||

The same happened after the bo3 or w/e it was between Deezer and CombatEX. Some kid made a fanclub for Deezer and shitload of kids signed up because they find Deezer's trolling and behavior hilarious (it's not) and Chill closed that one too. Imo, fanclubs have gotten out of hand lately. I feel like fanclubs should be made for players who are good at the game and the fanclub is made because of the players skill, not just because you like him/her as a person or you find him/her funny/cute/hot/w.e and the person happens to play Starcraft on top of that. | ||
