You can't do "medicine" at his age anyway. You have to finish an undergrad degree with a really high GPA and then apply for medicine school, which is usually 3-4 years. So pretty much, the first four years of "medicine" are super easy because you're taking biology, chemistry, or some other natural science degree.

If he picked engineering, I'm happy for him (:

Wow, I just read about the structure of medicine school in france... Boggles my mind. Although it is pretty similar it seems. You don't take any real medicine classes for the first few years anyway.

Apologies for being incorrect, forgot Stephano wasn't American.

Love to see Stephano play, still best stream of all (but HeroMarine is really nice to watch, too).
I know FiWiFaKi is Canadian...but it remembers me again of how awkward that whole "adopting" thing is, that is going on in SC2 in America. It´s like "Hey, there is no good American in SC2 (at the moment) so we just take the best players from the world and "make them americans", because everyone wants to be american, you know?" Erm, NO, not everyone wants to be american...maybe we are fine with the nationality we have, so maybe shut up with the "USA USA"-shouts everytime a non-american wins a tournament in the US. Geez. And then even forgetting about the fact, that he is no real american...

To be clear, I wanted to be funny , and didn't actually think Stephano was American.

I think it's more of a joke. We know Stephano is French, but it's probably shitty for the US, having over 300 million people and all, and not having any players in many tournaments... USA wants someone to cheer for, I guess it's somewhat hard to explain, but I didn't think people would be getting offended by it.

We call ourselves foreigners for Christs sake (see how I made a christian remark while being an atheist?) when we live outside of Korea. Jokes like that shouldn't be taken so heavily, it's all in good fun. Like you mentioned, I'm Canadian, but I'd argue that USA is one of the least nationalistic countries out there. Norway is proud when Snute wins, etc... USA is just louder because of the shear size of the population, the amount of people who play video games there, and English being their primary language.

Canada has Universities and Colleges. University is like the "real degrees" such as Engineering, Medicine, Law, Science, Mathematics, and colleges do stuff like Graphic Design.

So yeah, we have universities, but you still have to finish a university degree with a 3.7+~ GPA and score well on an MCAT test before you have any realistic chances of being accepted.
