maybe he is really tired of the game already (I mean not like a bit tired of playing it, or sick of it, just really exhausted, like someone would feel after doing the same for years and has REALLY problems motivating himself doing it, not like in school, more like a burn-out).
He's still young though and íf he stops, studies and gets a normal job, he will not regret doing both: played the game, and started a normal life in a young age.

Wooo. He's going to Valencia! Yes Rollora I understand that completely and I of course respect his decision on quitting, but there was multiple thoughts which went into my mind.
But yes! 2 days from Valencia and the event just got a lot better and interesting.

It's the end of his career, don't be so harsh guys. He gave us a last moment of joy with last WCS season, we can't ask for a tourny win in the last month of SC for Stephano.

Ps. I wonder in 2 years or so if he is going to look back and say fuck - it was so cool back then.
That is how I often feel now having a job, so much responsibilities... real work is a life eater. And that doesn't last that long in a bigger picture.

He just came back from 3 weeks vacation without any train, he is retiring in one month, and doesn't really have much fun in sc2 anymore, I don't think we can expect a solid performance.

I wonder how EG feels about the three week vacation in his last couple of months....Then getting raped in the group stages of DH. LOL, I seriously might have questioned his logic there - esp. when he's getting a salary and such already. Can't fault Stephano for taking advantage of that situation though

I've always been a fan of Stephano, but what exactly does Stephano go on "vacation" to get away from? Practicing two or three hours a day every third day and traveling to a weekend LAN every few weeks? Aside from attending LANs it's hard to imagine you need a break from such a "rigorous" schedule and that, even if he wasn't technically on vacation, he could fit in visits to family or whatever else he wanted to do during his normal work day. Perhaps he really is burned out, although I'm not sure why -- he's had a lot of success, everyone celebrates his skills and he seems to have fun whenever he attends tournaments. I can't imagine whatever he does following SC2 will be more fun than his time in SC2 since he'll likely be paid significantly less (unless he becomes a doctor) and have to work far more than he currently does. Perhaps he's a very private individual and doesn't like all of the attention he gets in SC2 although it certainly wouldn't seem that way to me.
