We all want him to do well, but his competition is tough as hell. It wouldn't be a huge shocker if a Code B Korean player knocks him out of a tournament. It's like Bobby Fischer going up against the Russians all over again... except Fischer worked his tailed off studying chess 14 hours a day. Imagine Stephano with that kind of dedication. haha One can only dream...

I'm really enjoying the fact that code S only start the 22. This is going to give Stephano plenty of time to establish a training schedule if he wishes to. I think we'll know the groups pretty soon as well. It is hard to say what we should expect before seeing those.

The good thing is that he is in an environment where players actually train hard (Korea gaming house), and his training partners are great players. He could really improve his ZvZ big time there.

The problem is if he actually qualifies for Ironsquid RO4, he'll have a problem in his schedule, he won't be able to return to Korea between IEM and Iron Squid and he can't really practice in France, i'm nearly hoping that he will lose in RO8 to return in korea directly after IEM.

It might happen since he is apparently sick today.

I think everybody agree, going to IEM would be a bad move !

IMO Iron Squid is a really good tournament with prestige and it is in France, Code S is the hardest league in the world, but what is IEM doing in this ? even if he wins it, it'd be bad for him :/

Having good results in GSL is probably more important for exposure than some random tourney in a random place...
