The second game he lost, omg... that made me so frustrated. He had a good advantage after taking 2 free queens. That third hatch was half-dead. He had 2 options, kill it, or kill Snute's army, which would've been a piece of cake if he hadn't wasted a ton of banelings just to kill 2-3 drones. What was he thinking building banelings right at the doorway of his opponents' base? You just don't do that... use those fricking zerglings to attack, not to just sit there waiting to become banelings only to be wasted. Jees... skill means nothing if you don't respect your opponent enough to not make really rooky mistakes like those. | ||

When you upgrade early, you're banking on that to yield a long-term advantage. That advantage gets thrown out the window when you're wasting units needlessly in the short-term. Upgrades means nothing if your army is 2/3 the size of your opponent's. Also, in the first game he lost, he wasn't able to take advantage of his 1-up hatch, because he knew he had to build army units instead of drones, since Snute's army size warped Steph's... which wouldn't have happened if Steph didn't throw away like 5 roaches for no good reason. | ||

Jae is already doing very well in Code A, btw. It's amazing how fast these Koreans can improve. I dunno if you are watching jeadong stream, but its awesome how he plays like stephano, but faster. So cleaner macro Stephano and Jaedong will probably be able to improve a lot by sharing their experiences | ||
