@Pogomais greed, pretension, prejudice, wealth accumilation, selfishnish is predominant in almost the whole modern world not just the US -_- I can't see how joining EG would provide him with more training partners up to his level. You can train with people from other teams, you know. And who in EG is up to his level anyway...? They might not be exactly on his level but can provide better trainingpartners than in Millenium: JYP, HuK, Puma, Demuslim, Thorzain and Suppy. My point was not to call EG players bad, just to insist on the fact that you don't actually need to train ONLY with your team mates. I think you are one of those that purely focusses on top 3 players rather than bracket reach, potential and play. You can do that, but it's hard to argue with such people so I won't if that's the case.
You kinda have no reason to think this, but meh, it's hard to argue with people who assume things based on nothing. I wouldn't say based on nothing seeing how you said EG players are not up to his level, but you do as you please.
They might not be exactly on his level but
You said it as well. But nevermind, it seems like you only wish to read what could prove your point. Have fun with that.

Anyways, I hope Stephano joins a team where he's happy! EG has only one good non Korean player (and Thorzain hasn't done much lately), TL none. I don't feel they help a lot develop the foreign scene. That, and i think EG's overall inelegance in getting players from other teams and the fact that they own one of the most polarizing figure in the scene (IdrA) mustn't help either. For me, apart from that, i don't want Steph' to go to EG because every player EG recruited has seen decline (HuK, Thorzain) and because I know Stephano will have to shut up and stop being the rock n'roll star i have grown to love. Edit : also the MTSL partnership is gold. Symbol/Stephano/Polt to own GSTL.
why should stephano stop being a rock'n'roll star if he joins EG ? EG is going to invest tons of money for him , if stephano keeps being stephano what can they do ? Kick him ? He will find a new team immediatly + EG would have wasted money ! Lower his salary ( in france it's not possible , I don't know in the USA )? If stephano really plays for money he will find a new team asap with a better salary. Do nothing and allow him to be the rock'n'roll star he likes to be ? I think so , stephano is known for his skill and personnality , if he joins EG he will lose the skill , hopefully he will keep his personnality ( see Idra ).

better training partner ?
JYP, HuK, Puma, Demuslim, Thorzain and Suppy.
1 - stephano use to train with mana, or play ladder before getting a "star". 2 - Feast and forGG and dragon are good player, but he dont train with them.
i dont think he is looking for training partner.

ITS THE EG CURSE MAN! i mean look at thorzain, he only won WCS sweden since he joined, and look at huk, he just won his second MLG while being in EG, and puma ? won second nasl while being on EG, what about JYP ? got to code S... obviously when you join EG you will lose skill!!!
on a serious note, i dont care what team steph will be in, as long as he is happy. if he is happy, then im happy!

I'm scared they would try to force him to train with the other EG players, given that he doesn't train with customs that much it would take away from his time. Honestly I wouldn't like it if he went with EG, really doesn't feel like it would be a team he would fit on.

Thorzain is playing very Good!

I think the EG curse is a bit overstated.
JYP -- Still one of the best in pvz and improving in pvt. He recently made Code S for the first time (I believe) and I don't believe there's been any significant decline in his results.
Puma -- His play has slipped recently but that can be explained more by the fall of Terran and the rise of Zerg and Protoss than by Puma's decline in skill. Also foreigners as a group have gotten stronger -- people like Stephano keep Puma from winning as much as he used to.
InControl -- he's become more of a front office type than a nose to the grindstone pro gamer. He was much better when he was playing more and the talent pool was shallower.
Idra -- Similar story to InControl but not to the same degree. Perhaps you can blame EG for forcing InControl and Idra to cast the MCSL, show up for autograph signings, etc., which does take time away from practice.
Thorzain -- hasn't been playing very well lately but his results have always been somewhat mixed and he's never done well at the GSL. I don't think you can blame EG for any drop in skill here.
Since we won't likely know the terms of whatever deal he works out it's really hard to say whether going to EG is a good decision (assuming he goes). Other things equal, I would rather see him stay with Millenium because I think the MIll-TSL partnership is better than the EG-Slayers partnership. With Boxer leaving I feel like Slayers (while currently extremely strong) is trending downward, whereas TSL's stock is rising; I would rather see Stephano practicing occasionally with TSL than with Slayers, but to be honest it won't make much of a difference since when he's in Korea he almost exclusively plays the ladder.

Yea probably need to practice builds to MLG and it's a good idea to save the builds.
Good luck stephano!

His arrogance is what makes him great! He don't give a shit who you are and how many tournaments you won. In Stephano´s mind he is the best there is and is that mindset that carried him to become a world class player. Matter in fact more players need to copy Stephano´s mindset. But its hard to do because its a champion mindset. The top players in the world all got it and its properly the reason why they are the top players

He said yesterday that it would be his last stream. I also think that it's because he wanna keep some strategies for MLG... he'll also open his stream's vods after this tournament.

Just wait another week, i'm confident that he'll take the best decision for him as a player. Why take the decision to go to EG when he's in the TSL house and stated that he really likes the TSL guys. For me, Stephano just waited his trip to Korea to see if he felt good with TSL and take the decision to stay with Millenium.
I can be wrong of course, but that's more realistic that a guy on Reddit who just says "News from Korea..", plus Stephano is going back to France before MLG while he could stay in Korea for more practice time, maybe to resign his contract, that's not impossible.
Of course, that's just what i think.
In another note, if he's going to EG, well, good for him i guess, i will stay a fan.

Thorzain hasn't seen decline since he joined EG, though. He was good player before and he still is, but he didn't win more than the occasional premier tournament back when he was on Mouz either. Having a few months without many noteworthy results (except for winning the Swedish championships, which is a good accomplishment) is nothing out of the ordinary for him, or for the vast majority of foreign pros in general. Also worth noting is that he's spent a lot of the past few months in Korea, so he hasn't been to particularly many events.

He's getting signed by Team8 as a foreign envoy so JD can have a teammate when he comes to MLG.
