Actually I think that he doesn't need to prove anything besides to himself.
He is arguably the best foreigner progamer. Despite not being the very best he is most certainly one of the top players in the world. If he retired today nobody would be able to take that from him. Even his fellow progamers recognize it. The only ones that have doubts are we, the fans (at least some ^^).
I just want him to keep playing because I love is style and his personality. Besides he has been giving us some of the best entertaining series ever.

It's a joke cause bling and Stephano hang out together a lot. Stephano made a tweet about her ''2 sons'' a few weeks ago.

Stephano are Bling are best Starcraft buddies.
Blings mom also follows the scene (she runs his fanclub here on TL.net among other things which is pretty cool), so they tweet and joke around a lot.

Things to watch for today.....
If MKP has a bad day, and Stephano has a good one.... Stephano could become #1 again in the TLPD international rankings. In general if Stephano outperforms MKP at this MLG, he could be #1.
Open bracket won't be announced until 5pm EST.... so we won't know the draw until then.
In many ways this is Stephano's toughest day yet. Expectations have never been higher, all his opponents will see him coming, and he's going to have to play TONS of SC2 to even get near the finish line.

I agree on most point. Today will be the toughest day, I think that if he manages to make it to the group stage, he should finish at least top 8. Also, MKP will play less game than him today and against better opponent, so if he ends the day undefeated he should be #1 ELO
I really hope he wins it all at the end of the weekend, but DRG, MKP, MC, Polt and aLive definitely have a word to say about that.

Ilyes Satouri has a word to say about it too. It's rare; but sometimes he misestimate his opponent, use funny strategies and loose stupidly.
If he's 100% in his games, he will go far in this tournament, no doubt
