Stephano is on a 25 win streak ZvP in tournaments according to TLPD (incl assembly winter); he should be able to roll over ReaL quite easily

then please tell me why you would not compare stephano and idra? i'm really curious!

Because they are not in the same league. Stephano is at the moment much much better.

Not only do I disagree, but even Stephano said he thinks it's pointless to compare himself to IdrA. Actually the way he talked, he seems somewhat annoyed at the anecdote.

Of course it's pointless, he is so much better :p
Lot more tournaments & money won, he crushed him on korean ladder, it's annoying to be compared to someone that bad :D

Fail read? Also pretty sure you're wrong about winning "a lot more torneys' but I cba to check. I know they both won a fair bit, thoguh.

Edit: And that's obviously not the reason he didn't care for the comparison.

It's actually at 27. They haven't counted his 2-0 sweep of Inori in the NASL qualifier (probably because the qualifier is still going on).
To be is to be the value of a bound variable.

I feel like he threw that second game versus Happy. He had tons of minerals and gas and never made any infestors, which he will always do with that style... I just see a lot of his past streams where it is like he is intentionally trying to show some terran how bad they are by winning with ONLY lings. It seems he got too confident and because he was behind in the beginning ended up being beat by Happy. IDK.

He didn't throw anything, he was so far behind after he lost 15 hellions and he didnt kill his opponent with banelings bust (happy had 3 orbitals). He couldn't stop producing units, or he would have just lost straight up to any push if he tried to tech up.

If you weren't such a smartass, you would have realized you can click on a player's name and check the meaningful tournaments he won...

So then say so next time. wtf?

Edit: Just by counting, they both got 27 things. So w/e? And no, I didn't bother to read what they were. I assume they are all tournaments of some sort.

Idra's tournaments are either small or tournaments played in 2010 or very early 2011 were competiton was not that big yet. Only major thing won in later 2011 was basically iem ganzghou, but the competition there was not so big to say the least(finals: idra vs elfi^^); on the other hand stephano won ipl3, eswc, ipl4 uk offline qualifier, all tournaments with plenty of top koreans in it that stephano had no problem beating 2-0, 3-0 and 4-0, if idra had won only one of these tournaments his fans would probably call him the best competitive gamer in the world of all time

I like the Stephano vs Idra thing !! rivalerys are good for esport, this makes emulation. And the fun fact is that thos two players never met in an official thing ^^

It's not a rivalry, Idra doesn't talk about Stephano, Stephano doesn't talk about Idra, Idra's fans seem to mostly respect Stephano, Stephano's fans seem to talk about Idra almost as much as they talk about Stephano in Stephano's fanclub.
