It was amusing to see Hero trying to stop the flood by picking up lings one at a time... you know you are desperate when you are resorting to that. How he keeps losing in the Code A qualifiers is beyond me.

One thing going for him, besides the fact that he's really good, is that he seems to have a very strong personality, in an MC type way. I would have to say that after MC and Boxer, he is likely the Korean player who feels the most accessible to fans. Also the fact that he apparently has decent English doesn't hurt too. I mean basically, he should have a lot of things going for him in order to be invited to foreign events.

Basically, MLG serves the purpose of giving relatively less-deserved spots to relatively lowly-skilled players with big names. Without MLG, it would take 1-2 unsuccessful seasons for MMA (his vP hinders him a lot. I don't see him getting into this with that vP hindering like DRG plus that huge early game weakness that Polt exploited 4 times in a row) and ages for BoxeR (face it, he is going down) just to get to code a.
