First of all: Sign me up!
Second: How is "Xiaot" correctly pronounced? I am asking this cause I got a little bit into Chinese and tried to figure out how to pronounce his name. So, yeah most people pronounce the X like "dsh" or like the "zh" in pinyin - kind of similar to how you pronounce the "X" in "anxious". But if "Xiaot" is somehow meant to be pinyin than the X would have to be pronounced completeley differently (like "hs" in the Giles-script). However what gives me most trouble is the "t" at the end. I mean is this typical of Chinese? A "t" at the end? Can someone explain please? ^^ The "t" stands alone. It's pronounced shee-ao-tee. Hmm, you say this cause you know? Know based on what? I mean, I understand the "t" standing alone, makes perfect sense - but the X pronounced as a "sh"? Are you sure about that one? Thanks for helping me out with the "t" anyways!
I'm Chinese and I listen to Chinese casts pretty often.
Like the poster above said, the "t" means templar and "xiao" means little in Chinese.

Just post that you want to join, it's pretty easy

Man, I wish he were able to play in more tournaments! XiaoT jia you!!
Favorite SC2 player, but it's a shame we see so little of him.
He doesn't have a stream, right? Are there any more collections of VODs of him playing?
Thanks for updating the fanclub ^^

I'm going to link his games vs MC and maybe the games from the FXO Invitational if I can find them in the next days. There are probably more replays of him out there on the Chinese sites (especially Chinese ESL) but I can't seem to find them.

Anyone know when xiaOt and other Chinese players are going to try for the GSL? I heard something about how they're definitely interested, but want to practice more or something. I'm so interested to see how they'll do.

Sweet, thanks!
Keep us posted :>

In an interview in Replays.net xiaOt said he will travel to Korea for the GSL Code A qualifiers after the WCG Grand Finals. Can't find the actual interview, so I can't really confirm it.

I do recall that one of the casters for China's GSL broadcast said that xiaOt, among others, will be heading over to qualify some time this year. So, yeah, after the WCG Finals would sound about right.
The Chinese SC2 community takes the WCG like 10x more seriously than any other SC2 community I've seen. It's always been that way, however.

That. Would. Be. AWESOME!

Somehow missed this, but CCM and LGD were recently bought up by a rich kid. Additionally, xiaOt forfeited his spot in the WCG; it appears he transitioned into more of a management/coaching role in iG and did not have time to practice. (Another user has mentioned how his BNet account seems to be inactive.)
Very sad, since he was, IMHO, China's most promising (and best) player. I don't know when/if we'll ever see him in the GSL now.

This is so disappointing I totally agree with you babylon. I was looking forward so much to xiaOt coming and kicking some ass in Code A, but now it looks like that's not gonna happen...
|
Yea me too, a shame it had to be him out of all the Chinese players

xiaOt vs. Sheth happened ... sometime. Score was 3-1 in favor of xiaOt. (Not bad!)
Apparently he'll be playing HerO Sept. 11, 20:00 KST. Whoever wins that will play TheSTC.
