Nani doesn't even deserve a code S spot.

I really love watching MVP play, and was just reading an interview of him where he is talking about his wrists : I understand he has some kind of carpal tunnel damages or something, but is he gonna heal someday ? Is it permanent injury or will we see IM.MVP in his best condition again ? Thanks for the informations if someone has any ! And sorry for my bad english too. Gogo MVP, Gogo Nestea !!

I don't think the injury is permanent but he would have to take a few months off at the minimum and get surgery to get fixed up, which means he would probably have to give up his spot in GSL.

I agree MVP is simply the better player but how can you say nani doesn't deserve code s when he got to the round of 8?

Because he didn't come through the Code A qualifier, through Code A, through the up downs. He got a straight seed into Code S. Thats why he doesn't deserve to be in the GSL. On the other hand, MVP is playing with hurt wrists, he won his code A games even after losing in ro16 last time and he just crushed Naniwa's and his fan's dreams. Compared to MVP naniwa is trash. funnily I just finished watching the games and they weren't even cheesy. Naniwa even scouted the 2 rax in the last game and still died to it. Game 1 was macro, game 2 was mass marines that MVP already showed once before on the same map. Game 3 naniwa got lucky but was a win for him. And game 4 was just brutal rape.

Naniwa got a major handicap that most koreans including mvp are not privy to. They had to get there the hard way. as it stands Naniwa's record in the GSL is horrible. I am of the opinion that he doesn't deserve the spot. It takes away from the legitimacy of the competition to invite popular players to the tournament bypassing the system of qualifying for a tournament that is supposed to be the worlds premier sc2 league. I understand why GOM does it, obviously for the viewers - but after the circus sideshow in the LR thread last night it's sickening to see ignorant fanboys of an overrated player attack a true champion that deserves to be there. A person who beat a well-practiced Naniwa WHILE INJURED.

![]() Also, how are MVPs wrists? Is it for sure Carpel Tunnel? Is he getting corrective surgery for it? I've heard there's a surgery where they can split the tendon or whatever it is to alleviate the pressure. It sounds pretty gross but it's supposed to have a high success rate and no symptomatic reappearances

Dont quote me, but I think he said it has to do something with his spine or something. I am sad to report I could not find the source, but thats what I remember reading.

How is your health lately? I thought the reason I couldn’t exert any force on my wrist was because of the wrists themselves. However, I recently got in touch with GGPlay (T/N: the name MVP mentions has two results in TLPD, the other, Jjando, just looks very unlikely to be whom he is talking about). He told me that he had the exact same symptoms that I have. At the time, GGPlay retired and I continued. After GGPlay got out of the army, he had an examination which revealed that the problem wasn’t in the wrist but in the cervical disc. So, I am planning to get my cervical disks examined shortly.
