Well if you have to go mech in TvP Mvp might be the last Terran for a while... BTW, didn´t Mvp say one time he would never ever play mech in TvP?

Now late game mech is almost impossible to win. Too many counters to siege tank and protosses have started to figure out the Thor push that Jjakji or Nada sometimes use and that Supernova tried in the last game versus Hero. Well I'm not sure what terrans can really do against the new Protoss style, maybe the only solution is to mass up an insane bio force really early or to hope your opponent is not going to defend well against drops.

It seems that you can't just go for standard and hope for your opponent to mess up. Terrans need a new standard play ! I really hope to see again this heavy bio composition he showed against Puzzle and in game 2 vs Hero. It is possibly one of the solution to counter the style protosses have been doing lately. Game 2 wasn't cheesy. It was a build MVP used before to win also on the same map. It wasn't a proxy rax it was double maka rax. Why is that a cheese build? And if thats a cheese build why isn't blink observer a cheese build? Just because that idiot tasteless says its cheese doesn't mean it is. MVP played smart, undermined his opponents confidence and won pretty much straight up. Even in the last game when it really was a cheesy build, MVP was able to win with it being scouted. It just shows how much better he is.

I don't think MMA and DRG should have gotten a Code S spot either but atleast they got it for winning something. What was the last thing naniwa won? MLG oh so long ago we don't even remember?

I have a friend with carpal tunnel and he says it's agony to try doing anything like that for long periods of time. I hope MVP can bring some kind of ace up his sleave. Partings TvP is insane just now. I half think MVP would be better off practising 3 base roach pushes with zerg for 2 weeks straight and swapping to Z straight before the match (GSL allowed Morrow to race switch after all) dumfounding Parting and negating all his prior practise and match prepartion. Anyway, I believe MVP.

I have a feeling he played naniwa the way he did to hide a couple strategies he had kept for parting

MVP is a grandmaster random player afterall and such a move would probably be the introduction of race counter play because at the moment it seems like (Terran>Zerg>Protoss>Terran).

I'm also still in shock that even with a wrist injury so severe that he's practically gimped he's managed to get Ro4 GSL, it's a real testimony to how amazing he is at Sc2.
