Pretty solid interview, though it seemed a bit scattered (not really Naniwa to blame for that). I'd still root for Naniwa in any game he played, even if it was League of Legends. Though, honestly, I don't see LoL working out that well, since it's a team-oriented game, but hey, do what you want to do, right?

its a bit funny tho that ppl think other people deserve the spot ( Yes i wanted to give it away cuz i didnt wanna play the tour ) but i won it fair and square by going top2 at newyork, if other people wouldve "deserved it" then they could learn to qualify to tournaments by their own skill

I understand that, but why not just suck it up and "Play" these matches even if they didn't mean anything?

Great interview. I've always liked watching nani play and his interviews. I think he is a very interesting person who is pretty misunderstood. He sometimes goes against social norms for sure, but I can usually see his reasoning for doing so... seems like a very logical person. I hope he comes back for LOTV!

Yes, it seems everything that happened was silly. How stupid of Alliance to believe that you would ever mature and take responsibility. Do you understand what you've done? This is equivalent to someone being told to do something at their job, then them doing it half-assed because they didn't want to do it. Especially after you qualified, and had seemingly committed to the tournament already because of your previous results. Do you understand that if I did that at my real job, I would be fired in a heartbeat? Do you understand that most teams were willing to overlook how immature and stupid you are because of your skill?

You have always been a plague to esports and SC2, and I'm glad you're leaving (hopefully for good). I honestly have no grudges against any other player in esports EXCEPT you, and it's because when people go to tell me how video games turns people into bad people, they point you. I hope you understand Naniwa that what you were representing was more than you, or your team. You were an icon for something that other people wish they were, and you cast it away like it's garbage, or wasn't important. You call the situation silly, but the only silliness I see in it is how you've acted this whole time, and how you seem to think you're in the right here. You're not, and I hope you stay the fuck away from anything esports related until you've removed your head from your ass.

Keep at it Nani - when you decide to come back and take 1st at a random MLG I will be the first to say I saw it coming ; ). One of the best protoss of our time - ignore the haters, they don't know you! GL in all you do, safe journeys!

Great interview and that actually had a pretty positive note, esp w.r.t his prospects of a return to sc2 It seems like PvZ is a nightmare now in EU. Luckily it does seem like blizzard is concerned about it, we just need to hope a good answer/fix shows up soon.

Also great to hear a shoutout to this fanclub (presumably, unless there are other fanclubs out there x)

Please admins, how can people flaming Naniwa in his own fanclub ( at a time like this!) get away with just a warning? What worse is this is the same treatment that some guy who wrote in Nani's native language *in his own fanclub* got. I understand that you have your rules to follow on TL, but I think Fanclub posts should have a special set of rules.

That being said; on topic.. I hope that Naniwa someday will get the hunger back and return to the game. But if he's not he still have contributed with lots of entertaining games (most memorable are PvZ IMO, I remember that ace-match vs DRG in code S he almost won, but didn't see the 9'o'clock base, his finals vs Leenock in MLG and his proxy about Hyun more recently - I guess the match vs Scarlett was hyped, but it was a total stomp, so even though amusing to watch not as intense/entertaining)

I understand that Naniwa is sick of the community and I wish him all the best, whatever his future desicion will be. I highly doubt Nani will stop compete though, he'll find something and that's part of why I've been a fan for so long, there's a brutal honesty in just being in the game for one reason - to win, to be the best. Ironically this made him more involved in drama than most (all other?) players.

Again - gl hf Naniwa, you'll be missed and always be welcome to come back.

The only one who should remove his head from his ass is you to be very honest. Get off your high horse!

This is NaNiwa's fanclub so feel free to post your malicious comments elsewhere. Seems like you're a rather hateful prick.
