Can't wait for the "best of 2013"-awards. I'm still a bit pissed that NONE of naniwa's games showed up in the top 40, but I feel TL has a slight bias against naniwa so I'm not surprised (sorry TL guys, you do a great job overall but this is Nanis FC and I feel that's the case). However it would be competely ridiculous if Naniwa doesn't get the best foreigner of the year award, especially after beating scarlett in that SM.

looking forward to a great 2014 for naniwa after an amazing year:D

I've read everything from Aftonbladet, Barcraft and his Blog and the only opinion I have is that NaNiwa did the right thing!(I genuinely think this despite being his fan)

Even as a fan, I don't think I'll ever understand why he insists on holding a grudge against Thorzain. It seems so pointless.

With that said though, I don't think he did anything wrong when he said that he didn't want to be on the team. Playing a tournament for fun with teammates you don't get along with wouldn't work out very well.

There is so much shit between so many different players and we know hardly any of it yet we often make grand assumptions from slight hints or small twitter exchanges. If there's bad blood between two players it's probably for good reason, or at the very least something fairly stupid happened to cause a grudge and we ought not assume that it's unjustified.

Naniwa talked a bit about it in this fan club a while ago, and what he said essentially came down to "I think he's overrated". Thorzain talked a bit about some of the stuff that had happened between them in the past on his blog as well. I'm certainly not trying to imply that I know everything on the subject and I'm sure there's plrivate stuff that none of us are aware of, but based on the information we do have, I think it seems, well, unnessecary, at least.

But hey, I could be wrong. Maybe somethhing else happened behind the scenes that neither side has made public.

I'm a couple of days late, but I agree, If I would make a list of top foreigners I would probably have top 5 as this(My personal opinion):

1: NaNiwa
2: Scarlett
3: Jim
4: VortiX
5. Theres like 7 different names I want here

I can't remember a single game from him that was thrilling (enough to be in top40). He played either too strong or too weak.

Some of his games against life in IEM NY could definitely have made the list I think, both the game on Bel'Shir and the game of Whirlwind were simply amazing I think personally

hi guys ! sorry for the late update. ill write here and in my blog a bit more thoroughly ^^ Lately ive been really depressed about things that i rather not share in public but i am working on fixing them which lead me to have quite bad practice results lately and that shakes my confidence obviously . that plus all the drama at the same time and some other bad news regarding my team is making me really sad at the moment. But never the less i will come back stronger eventually so i guess all i ask is that you remember that im human too ^^ As of right now in terms of my own plans there's korea plans and there's living on my own in sweden plans aswell both of which i find nice because i really feel i need a change in my life right now so that i can continue gaming alot of people really think its easy to be a foreigner pro and i guess this bothers me a litlte bit, sure if you dont care about results and you only want to stream then its a piece of cake but if you really want to win and try to better your game all the time it can be super frustrating when you have subpar practice possibilitys compared to the korean players who you have to play in tournaments. basically i guess all im saying is that i feel alot of pressure and stress etc etc. but oh well ill find a way to cope ! Sorry for saying so many different things in this post but my head is a mess right now , I do however want you guys to know that i check this thread quite regularly and i do appriciate your support
