today, early early morning on my way to work i wanted to have a breakfeast at macdonalds. i ordered and sat down took the first bite and was like "WTF SOCKE IS SITTING NEXT TO ME"
first i was not sure because im bad at recognize faces and was reaaallly sleepy. also he was reading a book so i did not dare to interrupt him. then he stood up and i saw his MLG bag, my brain was confirming that this is my favorite late game monster protoss.
because my brain does not work this early all i could come up with was:
"SOCKEEEE?" he turned around like "yeah?" we shaked hands. we exchanged some words i was like "too bad only 4th" he was like "its an ok result" i was like " yeah i guess.. koreans".. he was like "yeah.." and so on for about a minute. i did not want to bother him with taking a picture or something because i dont know how often this happens to him or if he had time... i wished him good luck and there he went.
he was really friendly. just like you know him from the streams. such a cool dude too bad i did not had to take the same train as him!!
happy to have shook hands with him :D maybe some DNA now is in my body, like spiderman i am now sockeman!!!!!

because of the job i just got i´ll move to krefeld soon. this is the little city take hosts his homestory cup. if take hosts another cup with public viewing ill make sure to go to the irish pub and hope socke will be there and remember me and sign something i have on me xD
write me a PM when the next homestory cup is announced and tell me to take a paper with me so he can sign it and ill send it to you. cant be that expensive to send a piece of paper to america ;D

( i think MLG should rise the prize pool. it seems with all the money involved into esports is disrespectful to players to put out such a small prizepool. MLG just will become a local tournament and fans will loose interest)

Yeah, he's exactly like that. When I asked him for an autograph before his match against MaNa at Gamescom he didn't talk much and I felt uncomfortable because it was just 10 mins before his match and he felt like a bit pissed off. Maybe it was because he was mentally preparing himself for his match, because when I met him earlier at gamescom he was friendlier, but unfortunately I didn't have anything to sign there.
But Socke is just a cool guy, I wish him best of luck at IPL and NASL ans wherever he will attend to play. It's sad that he had no time for MLG Raleigh, but a calm guy like him also needs some time off
