I hope he'll regain confidence in PvZ, but now the most important will be the PvT against Kas, which would be very hard, but Adel is the terran killer then it should be ok

P&T: Hello Adel how are you?
A: I feel great, hy everyone
P&T: So to start this of, where does your nickname come from?
A: It's a nickname I have since the Broodwar days. Back then I was in a team where everyone had beer nicknames. Adelscott was the only one left (laught).
P&T: Why don't you tell us more about your career in starcraft.
A: Well I began playing sc1 a while after it came out and I also stayed on sc1 for quite long even when broodwar was out. In 2002 I finaly started playing on broodwar and It took me a lot of time to become competitif and to get admitted in the french national team. I did participate in some lans and clanwars, however I made better results in 1 month of sc2 than in 5 years of sc1 so I guess I wasn't that good in sc1. I guess it also had to do with the fact that I started sc1 later than other people.
P&T: Did you meet other broodwar player like MoMan or Aures?
A: MoMan had already stopped broodwar. I only saw him a little at the end of broodwar. In fact I played broodwar after all the good people had stopped.
P&T: So is that why you won?
A: (laught)
P&T: Are there any players you had troubles againts in broodwar and how is it in sc2?
A: Well the only player I had a lot of problems whith was SarenS. I actually never won a bo3 against him in broodwar. I sometimes took some games of Kenzy and Aures who I already new in broodwar. I think I took the upper hand in sc2.
P&T: Did you, like many players, check out w3?
A: I had a brief passage on w3. I played less than 500 games because I realized that the game didn't suit me. I prefer games where croudcontrol and macro matter rater than games that are build around heros.
P&T: Why did you pick Protoss in sc2?
A: When I first played sc1 at the age of 15 I didn't even have a computer, so I had to go to a cybercafe. I instantly fell in love with protoss because the computer would zealot rush me and I found that very strong. So the protoss spirit contaminated me and never let go.
Furthermore I also think protoss is a race adapted to me. When you play protoss you don't have to have insane macro or super high apm, what you need above everyting else is a excellent vision of the game. You also are not allowed to make any errors or to be surprised by anything.
In termes of macro protoss realy isn't the most complicated race compared to zerg or terran.
When sc2 came out I could have changed races but I really wanted to play protoss because I like this race.
All in all I simply think protoss coresponds to me.
P&T: Could you tell us witch protoss players inspier you?
A: All protoss players inpire me. I watch a lot of replays to get a better vision of the game. But to tell you one name I find genius very inspiering.
P&T Tell us a bit more about your late scout, witch we came to name Adelsout (laught). It seems you don't like scouting very early why is that and how do you deal with chease?
A: It is true that I don't like scouting to early, mostly because you have 1 less probe mining and the intel you get in return realy isn't worth that. For example if you scout after the gate against terran you will see 1 barracks. Then you have to get away when the marine commes out and thats it. Same thing against zerg, when he has zergling he will chase your probe away. Shure you can also harass a little but having a probe mining is better especially earlygame. That is why I prefer to focus on my timings and on probe micro. However against a player who I think is weaker than me I might scout earlier to be save and to harass.
P&T This leads us to our next question. If your oponent knows your not going to scout early dont you fear all in builds like 6 pool or proxy racks?
A: By scouting later I get an economic advantage so I put that to use to make my builds save against almost all allins there are. If I feel that I can be save against anything then I realy have no reason to scout to early, do I? Versus terran I scout afer the core because there is no reason to scout earlier. Sometimes I still lose to proxy racks or early pools but only if I made a mistake.
P&T: What do you think your weakness are and where do you want to get better?
A: Well I don't have the highest apm compared to other playes. So on longer games with a lot of multitasking I might not be as fast to react as others or to keep up the macro during a fight.
P&T: Any last words?

Sign me up ! I switched toss when i saw adel pown everybody with as many apm as me

I dont understand, this guy hasn't the best macro, he hasn't the best micro, he got 80 apm and he is just incredible. He mb got the best game sense !

This guy just doesn't get enough love. Protoss can be played as the macro race and destroy. You don't need to just rely on the deathball to win. Count me in.

So how do you think Adelscott will do vs Kas ?

I mean he's obviously gonna win... (i hope) :/
I think his style will really suit Kas's. They know each other really well, from Go4Sc2 and other tournaments and armor upgrades will really do good vs Kas's Macro.

Adel back is on his feet again!!!!!

He just won the GA (gamers assembly) http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=215635 whitch is the biggest tournament in France.
Other players present were: HasuObs, Strelok, Tarson, Bly, Sarens, Stephano.
I would also like to mension the performence of Aures who made it to the finals defeating players like HasuObs and Stephano. I think I will keep an eye on him in the future
