Kind of funny when MC thrash talked him and said to DRG he shouldn't lose to a player like Genius in Ro32 and now is down 0-2 against him. I think we're about to see Genius come back to his same form when he won Blizzcon.
wow source on that

Don't sign me up yet. Still I want to praise Genius's performance this GSL. He challenged MC for the protoss throne. And depending on how he played today, he might be worthy.

GENIUS FIGHTING!! :DDDD
I love how you are playing! Take GSL!

Ok I've been a vocal critic of Genius over the past year. Right now he's playing at a level I've never seen before, but I want to see his performance in the Ro4. And if he manages to perform on that stage, then I'll know he's the real deal.

Sign me up, pls. He is really good. Anyone would know where to find replays of him? Any would do... shame he doesnt stream - or does he?

The best part about Genius winning? Is we get to see more of his games. I copy his builds/playstyles more than any other player out there, he really did name himself correctly.
Also he and I seem to share an undying love for voidrays.

i dont think you give him enough credit.
lol at total copout bullshit "if he happens to lose ro4 then invalidates all his play til then and my biased hate towards him was justified"

My criticism of Genius was always "Good, but inconsistent and never going deep in tournaments". Too many times has Genius looked great for a single match, a single series, then went back to mediocre. I don't expect TL's memory to run very deep, but this is not the first time that Genius performed exceptionally well and everyone was quick to hop on his bandwagon.
I don't really care if he wins or loses his Round of 4 match (obviously it would be wonderful if he did the former), but if he plays great and loses then I'll be convinced that Genius will stay a top dog.
LOL you mad that I'm not slobbering over his every achievement? Must be quite strange to see a rational fan.

Genius has been quite consistent since last season. When he blitzed through code A he showed that he was Code S material and now he's showing he's a contender. I think it's sufficient data to assume he is pretty good.

Genius has been good since Up and Down, it's more than a 1 off, even if he doesn't do well in Ro4, he's earned everybody's respect.

You aren't being rational.
Genius's record is 3-0 Win over MC, 2-3 win over MKP (lost 3 games but went through the group), 2-1 win over Nestea, 2-0 Win over SC, 2-0 Win over DRG. Wins over Boxer, Taeja, Cezanne, asd.
If thats not consistent I don't know what is. Only Alive has done better.
genius will have a tough time in ro4 against Alive, but that doesn't mean he isn't the best protoss in the world by far.
edit; had the MKP game count wrong.
