Introduction God, does Artosis need an introduction? Anyone who has been a part of the Starcraft or Starcraft II community for any amount of time knows Artosis. Dan "Artosis" Stemkoski is a long time community member and pillar, playing competitively as Terran in Starcraft: Brood War as well as being one of the most notable commentators of that era, belonging to the foreigner clan [Media]. Artosis was a regular at WCG from the early days of Starcraft: Brood War and onward. Artosis also commentated for notable events such as the PokerStrategy TSL with fellow caster Nick "Tasteless" Plott" (Forming one half of "The Casting Archon") as well as hosting events such as "Ascension". Artosis has been living the dream, living in Korea, working at SCForAll, quitting to pursue more active playing before being approached by GOMTV for a commentating position in GSL.
Artosis was active from Hour 0 of the Starcraft II beta, quickly becoming a top foreigner. Artosis was one of the early Zerg icons along with EG.IdrA popularizing the passive, macro styling that is so prevalent today. Artosis was an active member of MYM Gaming in the beginning stages of the SCII beta and release, leaving more recently, but not before qualifying for the GSL 1, where he unfortunately lost in the RO64 to NEXFreeSaga. Artosis has been one half of the popular Code S GSL casting team of "Tasteosis", offering insightful commentary for the biggest Starcraft II Starleague in the world (atm). Artosis has recently race switched to Protoss, despite his history of disliking the race in Starcraft: BW.
Why Support Artosis? Well, Artosis is simply a cornerstone of this community that should be supported by all its members. Few people know the game as well as Artosis, and no one loves the game and is more passionate about it than Artosis. Here are a few things his peers have to say about Artosis...
"...no one has a passion for Starcraft like him, and no one has a passion for competing in Starcraft like him. It would just tickle the soul of my heart, I would even go so far as to not be chill for a brief moment of my life, and just be ecstatic, go wild if Dan was in this league...his skill level is there, and his passion; no one can compare" -Liquid`Tyler
"Like when you listen to Artosis commentate, he's almost never off the mark on that stuff, because when he's not commentating he's playing. JPYeah, I can't speak enough to how incredible Artosis is as an Analytical Caster" -iNcontroL and JP McDaniel
"Artosis, he loves Starcraft more than anyone else in the world. I'm sorry if you think you love Starcraft as much as Artosis; You don't. And, he's hilarious, and he's very loyal and a perfect gentleman" Liquid`Tyler
Fun Facts Artosis is A Vegetarian Artosis is A noted animal lover and raises many pets in his South Korean home Artosis is A noted Guinea Pig expert Artosis has A friendly rivalry with famed commentator Sean "Day[9]" Plott going back to their days as competitive Starcraft: Brood War players
So support Artosis guys, no one is as deserving as Artosis of a loyal fanbase, as no one cares as much about this game than him. He is truly an icon of the Starcraft community! Here's to hoping for a spot in the NASL If anyone feels there's something that should be added to the above links send me a PM or leave a post and I'll make sure it makes it on here ^^
*Edit* LOOKS LIKE OUR BOY IS IN, CONGRATULATIONS ARTOSIS!
Artosis recently signed on with SixJax Gaming as their captain. Good Luck to sixjax and Artosis with this move.
Artosis first NASL matches are rapidly approaching, go cheer him on as Artosis finally shows the world what he can do on the big stage!
Artosis is the reason i pay season ticket for GSL i got better because listening to his comments on the game hes truly the best analytical caster im his loyal supporter! sign me up! lolol
Easily the greatest person and definitely one of the most personally influential Starcraft players/commentators. Will always be a huge fan, Sign me up!
There already is a Tastosis fanclub. Once the two have merged, they no longer can be separated. This is an outrage good sir and unbalances the cycle of the casting archon and it's guinea pig companions... With that in mind, sign me up I guess since they are letting him have 2 fan clubs.
Reporting in! Artosis has always been one of my favorites as a player, commentator, news reporter and behind-the-scenes guy. He really deserves the support.
Artosis is easily my favorite SC community figure. I really wish he had the fans Tasteless has, as I find him so much funnier and interesting. Should be gayforartosis.com imo :p
Something Artosis doesn't get enough credit for in SC2 is his actual play and style. Often overshadowed by full time players and of course IdrA, their styles aren't actually the same.
Artosis has put out a few replay packs, and one was actually the most impressively one sided strat/execution I've seen. In ZvT he was in a phase of going infestor/hydra, and completely wrecked bio Terran play with it. Exceptionally good/fast creep spread, and money fungal growths. He stopped this style at some point, having run into a serious weakness I assume, but perhaps it'll make a comeback someday.
As a Z player (albeit a poor one), I've been most impressed by Artosis' play, and inspired by it.
BTW, getting beaten by "FreeSaga" doesn't sound like much... FreeSaga is now Byun. A lot more honorable to say he was beaten by Byun then by his old name when he was a Protoss.
hahaha sounds like the incontrol rant when artosis made the blog about map balance :D .. speaking of which.. can anyone link me to these two posts? I assume this also is an old TL thread
Some months ago when I was watching an MLG my girlfriend, who does not play any kind of computer game ever, comes in and sits down on the couch and starts watching. After a few minutes she says "Hmm, where are those other guys? I liked them a lot more" since I had been watching GSL earlier. So even people who aren't in to starcraft at all still prefer Artosis
I think that's a pretty strong testament to just how awesome Artosis is!
I really really hope to see Artosis in the nasal league. He's shown in GSL that even though he is mainly known for casting he's still a very good player. If he can find time to practise I'm positive he'll do well in any league anywhere.
Finally someone made this! I can't believe it took so long to make a fan club for the most dedicated Starcraft player ever. He deserves everyone's respect, even if they don't like him as a person (which is a pretty ridiculous thought...)

Yeah, I was going to post how cool it was that Artosis was going for NASL, then I saw the page wasn't there and pulled a lolwut, then quickly rectified the situation. <3 to everyone supporting Artosis! Anyone who does as much for the community as him deserves a lot of loyal fans
<3 Artosis. He and Tastless make the GSL soooo good! Really apreaciate how good when the are compared to the code A casters. Hope he can get to play more now, as its obvious he really loves playing starcraft competitively. Good Luck Artosis!!

sign me up please. He is by far the best caster I have heard. He is worth all the money that people spend on premium tickets on Gomtv (except since code A has turned to shit with Kelly and the other guy). He makes the game entertaining and insightful for anyone who doesnt know exactly what is going on in the match.

It's gotta suck being that talented but being overshadowed by A teamate who plays the same race as you and happens to be one of the best foreigners. Machine will get his day in the sun, though, I think this upcoming year he'll do very well in MLG

He was looking like a God at MLG Dallas, I don't think he lost a single game until the quarters, and TT1 just came with a real scary 6 gate timing that wasn't popular at that time and did crazy well, so I think any hype he got was justified, he's got to be one of the best zergs in NA.
Artosis is such a dork, which is why I'm a huge fan. His commentating is more than exceptional. With a personality of his, and the smarts of his - he is indeed the best commentator on this planet. When he gets excited, it's fun to listen to while watching the GSL.

how do you think assem got his "talent"? through PRACTICE. you got a free shot at progaming because of who your friends were. we now have a tournament where some of us who really want it can earn it and you are trying to sabotage this. you dont actually know everything, sorry.
You are right I did get a 'free shot' at progaming because when I came to Korea the skill level among foreigners, whilst still having a huge gap between the skill level of koreans, was much closer to the koreans than modern day. I was indeed one of the top foreigners back then but I certainly wasn't the best.
Now fast forward to modern day where the skill level of korean gamers is so fucking insane to a point where it is basically unattainable for non-koreans (if you think Draco got close to it you are ignorant, but he did get farther than any other non korean skill-wise imo). So here we have a korean community full of gamers so damn good and a non-korean community full of all the 4th rate newbies from the past when all the good players played. None of you have improved like the koreans. Your skill levels have stagnated and you have merely learned to copy some macro build orders invented by the new generations and learned to click faster (not you artosis ur the same as always, no offense..just a fact). Not only that, but this tournament doesn't even have the best foreign players from this day and age. It has a few good ones but the rest are 2nd and 3rd rate newbies even by today's foreigner standards. How exactly does winning a 16 man tournament full of trash players make you 'earn it' ?? You say this is going to make you earn it, whereas I got a 'free shot' by earning the respect of the whole Hexatron team and ElkY and Grrr (real progamers, who have a real sense of talent and skill, unlike you...who is a clueless newbie with a hopeless dream). Winning this tournament doesn't mean shit. It earns you nothing. It proves nothing. It only proves which one of the 2nd and 3rd rate newbies on the day of the tournament is playing the best and/or the luckiest. Whoever came up with this whole idea is doing you guys a huge favor giving you guys a chance at a little money and a chance at coming to Korea and having fun on a team.
I know this is harsh and kind of mean seeing as how it is your dream to come to Korea and be a progamer. But get your facts straight. U blow.

Dude, lurker is a legend He was SC Pro back in BW days, then went poker and shared some awesome stories about foreigners in Korea (Tasteless, Idra, etc) But overall I think I'm not worthy to talk about him. Hail to rekrul. Try to check out his blog.
Artosis had an "impossible dream", and he achieved it through hard work and preserverance. We see him in glamour mode now, but don't forget the hardships and lack of money he had to endure when in Korea. So happy he made it!
If you have a dream, chase it - and if you achieve it, a dream come true!
Artosis is just amazing as a commentator and I can't wait to see him in the NASL! He really is simply just a great guy and I hope he does awesome in the NASL.
Great news about NASL! Out of all the big names that had applied you were definitely the one I wanted to see make it in. I can't wait for it all to kick off now.
I really hope he can step up and snap some nerd necks in the NASL ^^ I can't wait to see him play. Oh, and if he's trying out for Code A this season, then GL for that too!
YES! Can't wait to see Artosis play, going to be cool watching him as a player again as well! How is he just now getting a fanclub!! Go pwn some nerds Artosis
I just saw that Artosis is the coach of the "world" in the "world vs. Korea" series.
After watching the GSTL, I'm really interested to see how Artosis handles the team format. I don't know if he's able to keep up on the foreign scene, but he certainly knows the Korean players, and what he could do to snipe them, super well. I'm really excited for this series!

Im sure he keeps up with it fine, knowing Artosis he probably knows everything about all of his players.
With Artosis coaching the world (O_o) koreans will sure have to fight for their money. good times ahead. And by the way, since it needs to be said: Artosis I love u 4 eveeeerrrr =)

lol =D He was super-nice and chatted with us a bit while we all watched Day9 get swarmed by fans, haha. We asked him how soon he had to go back to Korea, and he answered "in eight hours" ... they work him hard.
Origin for those who don't know: Back in January, Artosis had to go to the washroom after Choya won his match. John took over, but then Artosis returned and did a hilarious staredown while walking past the camera. See http://www.gomtv.net/2011gslsponsors1/gomcam/59039
I guess it's time to sign up. I have loved this guy since I first started watching competitive starcraft. It was VODs of the TSL1 which had just ended. Back in the day he really was the best starcraft commentator in my opinion and today he still remains one of the best. I continued to enjoy his work with the starcraft weekly news show and the coverage he provided of the foreigners living in Korea.
Absolutely <3 Artosis... Classy, intelligent, hilariously funny... He and Day[9] are consistently the ones in the community who "gets it", sees the big picture, and are spot-on on their commentaries and analyses.
Can't thank them enough for what they've done for the community.
Congrats artosis! You have always been and will always be my favorite SC guru. I'm an anti-troll and never post or browse without direct interest.. but I am happy your pursuing your career as a player as well as a commentator. I just turned 25, and as an old time gamer I know you got it in ya
I remember a SC1 replay you played that ended up with 1 vulture 1 sci vessel against 3 archons ... needless to say I was a fan ever since.

Awesome. It instantly reminded me of the story of Tordenskjold a Norwegian naval officer who's a bit of a legend in scandinavia. The story goes that he in a great battle against Sweden had 100 of his men march around a hill in a circle so that it for the swedish army (who couldn't see the other side of the hill) inside the keep looked like he had thousands of soldiers just waiting to attack, so they immediately surrendered.

Yeah, the person Tordenskjold was real though, but some of the crazy stories are myths. Still he's made his way into both Norways and the Danish national anthems. =b

John Magruder and Nathan Bedford Forrest were notorious for similar stunts (marching troops back and forth to disguise the size of their forces) in the American Civil War.
Just noticed this thread existed... Artosis to me is the most entertaining, awesome, "wouldn't be the same without him" figure in the starcraft community, he truly represents what it's all about (with Day9 ofc, but he gets enough props already).
Biggest fan and nerd respect. Sign me up for the fan club.
Poor Artosis, it's pretty bullshit that he didn't get promoted, really threw off his NASL performance. Did he miscalculate something, or did the ladder system really screw him?

The ladder system might have screwed him but the entire situation seems to have gotten to his head and now he is tilting pretty hard

haha, I thought it was hilarious. I really don't think the non-promotion is going to kill Artosis. He may rant on it a little bit, but it's not going to affect his mental state in games. (IMO)
Artosis simply is the man. I know he's been out of practice for a while, but for all he stood for in Brood War, it would do us all a disservice if he didn't start stomping dudes in SC2.
Do you remember when Peanut finally met Boxer at Blizzcon? How she was crying and nervous as fuck? That's how I feel about you man. If I saw Boxer I'd be interested, but nothing more. If I saw you in person I'd break out into spontaneous and sequential orgasms.
I'm literally in love with you. I'd be willing to surgically adopt a womb just to have the chance of allowing you to impregnate me.
hey everyone, super thanks for all the kind words and support! sorry i haven't been doing well in NASL yet. I'm still a bit too busy, but practicing as much as I possibly can, in every free moment.
Lots of my practice will be streamed from here on as well, so you can watch my (hopefully!) steady improvement.
You seem like you're having problem in pvp, if they rush you or play blink. Try not to play so standard vs toss maybe and go 4g vs 4g? :S I know it sucks but it rly hurts seeing u lose

A bit yes, I hope Artosis has the pleasure of never having to meet him

Yes, who would ever smash his SNES Zelda? I mean what the fuck man?!!?!
By the way Artosis, fucking GOLDEN to have you and tasteless to listen to at GSL again. If you see Jinro, give him a friendly punch in the stomach and tell him he has to win MOAR!
Had to make an account to show my gratitude and respect for Artosis. You have played a major part for the SC community and continue to do so as both a caster and a player.
Also saw your stream for a few minutes today and I loved it. If you ever read this please don't listen to all the trolls, lots of people out here love to see you play and I hope you won't let the trolls disencourage you in any way. Get a few moderators and don't forget to /commersial

Ofc Artosis comes a clean 2nd place in my eyes, but still, I wouldn't want to get impregnated by the guy tbh.
Hi Artosis, I'm a big fan of your commentary. Small tip for you and other Protoss:
Hold down your unit warp-in key ---> click a bunch
instead of pressing the hotkey, clicking, pressing the hotkey, clicking. It will save you a ton of time. Keep plugging man everyone wants to see you do well!
i just got banned from his chat for typing 'lulz', Artosis really needs to re-evaluate his mods, he says its important to get good mods, then he chooses random people out of the blue...
The attitude and commentary of incontrol / gretorp was embarrassing to say the least. Really gave the NASL a bad image and was incredibly unprofessional. Keep practicing and working hard artosis.

I'm sorry I missed his match. What did they say? Where they making fun of him? Incontrol was during the SOTG on tuesday, which was kind of annoying. Also I respect Idra for defending Artosis indirectly by talking about cross server lag. ^^
It's a mental/lag/practice thing. It's a problem that his knowledge of the game exceeds his current mechanics, which is of course rusty in comparison to people who has more time to practice than Artosis. I think that is the main problem, and causes him to screw things up he has down to the letter in his head. By this I mean he screws more up, than his current mechanics should.
I also think he thinks too much, while playing, as it is, which is also understandable.

People need to stop being hypersensitive. Incontrol and Artosis have been friends forever. They didn't even rag on him; they just pointed out his mistakes, of which there were plenty.
Well for you guys who don't know about the nuke thing. Artosis said on the GSL stream that his weakness is nukes because he doesn't know what "Nuclear Launch Detected" is in Korean. He plays on a korean account afterall. =/ Kinda sad that it happened.

Might be time to invest 5 minutes to ask John and learn 3(or so) words. Maybe he just didn't care that game since he lost 100% anyway.
Well in that game specifically all of the notifications would be in English because he would be using a NA client just like when you watch some one like nony stream his game where he plays on the Korean ladder it's all Korean notifications. Though I agree that the nuke had no real impact on the out come of that game but I really really wanna see him win one and there were times in that game where you could see his improvement.

I did see him saying this on his stream but to play on NA server wouldn't he need NA account therefore game client? I could be wrong though.

I thought that Blizzard allowed players on the Korean server to play on NA, just not vis-versa. In that case, he would be playing with the Korean version of the game on the NA server.
Doesn't really matter either way, he still got rolled, and he still is one of my favorite players :-)
i would liken artosis to muhammad ali. he has had a hiatus from the sport, and he is undergoing growing pains in getting back in shape. right now he's using the old rope a dope, letting people beat up on him, but in reality he is ready to obliterate them once they get tired.
Is it just me or Artosis is completely different from usual on this last cast of Nestea vs Sc? He's usually so shy and serious and now he's so out of control can't stop cranking jokes.
No idea what you've been drinking man, but keep it up cause it's awesome :D
Artosis: Oh YEAH! Oh yes! OHHOHOH. I need a cigarette! Tasteless: I need to change my underpants. Artosis: Go make me a sandwich, Tasteless. I am so happy.
I think I found another artosis, this guy sounds exactly like him! Although I think this snake-man would still be playing zerg.. bahahah stumbled across this while looking for a new pet, check it out:
Hopefully Artosis get to play and practice more and play in more tournaments in the future. I am always very sad when on his stream, he will accurately predict what his opponent will do to f..k him up and his opponent will do it and f..k him up. Really hope he can get back in shape as a top player that he can be
Holy shit I just had a dream where Artosis was staying over at my parents house. He was a grumpy guy so I tried catering to him by doing those things tasteless tells us to do in 10 minute breaks, but Artosis had this fed up look on his face. In the middle of the night I wake up and see him crying for some reason, so I gave him a hug. What did the trick in the end was sushi from the fridge.
Never again am I leaving artosis' stream on when I go to bed.
Artosis is a solid player. He just hasn't had the time to put in the hours of practice to hone his mechanics yet. In his prime, he was beating top players like Huk. He just needs a bit more time and support from us, his fans. He'll get out of this slump soon and start winning.
i doubt you will read this artosis, as you spend so much time on starcraft, but ive noticed a few things -every week in nasl artosis' play has improved a good deal -i feel like you wont go 0-xx in nasl (im starting to think that haypro will though as his play has been getting worse )
however i do have a few questions if you do read this -why protoss? since terran was your race in bw and you have already played a lot of zerg in sc2 -how do you balance playing and casting? because casting requires a good deal of knowledge about the players and their styles as well as how they are doing, pretty much know everything lol
gl in the future, ARTOSIS FIGHTING!!! oh btw if im not already in this fanclub then plz add me :D i should be in here lol
What spurred the sick thread(now closed) was him calling it a night few days ago saying he's sick. Maybe he was just busy packing(he's moving) OR wanted to relax. Meat really has nothing to do with it, stop trying to force it down his throat.

STARtosis. Its a pun? Sort of weak? Maybe. Maybe not.
Artosis can you lower your in-game audio or Boost ur mic? It's kinda hard to hear u talk. It's weird because a week or 2 back i could hear you perfect :/
hey just wanted to say that it hurts my soul everytime i watch your stream and see how many people are just shitting all over you in chat... you rly shouldn't give a shit about those trolls artosis!
I'm really happy that artosis got a win! Hopefully he can string together a few more and stay in NASL! 0-6 Grubby does make me sad though. Cmon artosis, Rainbow, tlo and vibe can still fall below you!
When Artosis decided to use his free time between GSLs to play in NASL, I realized how much I should love him. How can someone be so dedicated? And his interviews and Korea-coverage are also always great.
If there was any doubt before, Sixjax's recent success and Puma's domination indicates that artosis knows starcraft better than most. Artosis for starcraft president.
I am a huge Artosis fan, if it wasn't for him I would not be a member of this forum. I have always loved StarCraft, but when I started hearing Artosis talk about SC, it made me appreciate it on an exponential amount of additional levels.
The downside to Tastetosis' casting is that you can't really skip ahead to the actual games when watching the VODs, because you'll end up missing awesome stuff such as that drink-steal up there. Damn you Artosis, why must you be so awesome ;_;
artosis is the main reason for me to watch GSL. great humor, stunning game knowledge and his love for the game and esports in general is oh so intoxicating. greatest caster (alongside tasteless) and awesome person - i love him! sign me up!
Edit: PS: i LOVED your stream dan! really sad you stopped streamin
Artosis interview by slop3 from rakaka at the cs 1.6 tournament e-stars, in seoul. They talk about why artosis is there, swedish players in gsl and possible relations between dreamhack and tastosis in the future.

hi im looking for an interview in the recent past that has artosis saying something along the lines of
"if you want to be a pro gamer you have to want it more than anything you've ever wanted anything in your whole life."
cant seem to find the source of it, i just remember the quote. its really important for me to find it because i plan to use it for a project i will be working on. much appreciated for your help. thank you.
Artosis is the sole reason to buy GSL season pass every season. He's a whole league above other casters in terms of knowledge, critiques and funny jokes.
Credits to tasteless, too, though.
Oh we need to include the "artosis pylon" in the OP. It is now a common term in starcraft lore!
Was astounded at todays philosophy class when me and my m8 thought wtf is artosis doing in the power point presentation, but maybe it was Artosis in another life! :O
I'm gonna love it if HotS has a mission where you have to destroy a single pylon powering several buildings, or something like that level from BW where you take down the pylon matrix to steal the Matriarch. Just sneak one of those Artosis bot critters into the area if it has to be subtle.
I always cheered for Artosis ever since I started watching GSL. Just recently I re-watched the Zelda rant for the passion and also saw him troll JP at Raleigh with the Puma and the egg <3
Big fan of artosis and one of the reasons why i got into sc2..but last night i think it was... tastosis spent 7 mins in-game talking about primary school stationery... i know they're meant to be entertaining but i found my self just alt tabbing away from its since they didnt even commentate on the game till 9 mins in... =__= i'll forever support them but cmon guys!!!!!
I saw a really funny video of artosis from last nights gsl. Nestea vs virus where he screamed I AM NESTEA, I wanted to show it to my brother but now I cant find it. Have any of you seen it?
I'm not a native speaker, so I wonder: Is "I got teary eyed/had tears in my eyes/etc." a usual English saying or is it just typical for Artosis?^^ Great job yesterday, really looking forward to a second day of awesome tournament casting. =)

It's a common enough saying, it's definitely not like Artosis created it. I think Artosis uses it a lot though.
I actually am such a fan of this guy after i watch state of the game and his stream. SIGN ME UP. Hes got such a mind of a genius, he reminds me of steven hawkings in the world of sc2. He knows the knowledge of a thousand men but cannot physically against the current pro gamers. Him and Liquid'Tyler are of the same, titan legends from broodwar.
I watched his stream for the first time the other day, and the commentary of his train of thought was amazing and even though he would lose. He would know exactly why and explain how he would have lost to everyone on the stream. Absolute awesomeness.

Dunno if its just me but Artosis seems to have a good sense of humor whilst casting these days compared to the earlier days where it was always tasteless cracking the funnies. Gogo artosis.
I just want to say this, and this seemed like the best place to say it: Artosis, you are the best! No one is as good as you! You make the game so fun to watch, I learn so much from you, and you seem very personable as well. I don't know if you ever look at this to cheer yourself up, but if you do, you should be proud of yourself man. You're making this nerd a happy nerd.
Artosis you are awesome man. I literally just learn so much when you stream and analyze.
Today was insane, you covered a text book example of defending agaisnt 2 base mass-muta, by utilizing cannons, and mass blink stalkers into stablizing your third until you can push against their broodlords. If I had not watched your stream today, I would not have won that game just now. Thanks for everything!
Artosis' awesomeness is known to all of us, but did you know that he recetly starred in the muppet movie as beaker? We can clearly see the connection

Not a single commercial during the Artosis hour ? Dan, you sir are a baller! Great show! I had seen the NaDa vs ToD game Live on NaDa's stream and it was really interesting to watch again with your commentary! Learned a few important things so thank you for that.
All the really cool people love Artosis most out of all the casters, because they know he is the one with the true passion. Nerdballer gets thrown araund like an alley-whore so this guy deserves a better title. I only wish he would stream when I was awake, or that there would be a rebroadcast on EU time.

It's really cool to see you cast with someone else sometimes, I think you Artosis go well with every caster there's out there for GOM. I wish you could get some time though to pick up on Artosis Hour, loved it and would be really cool to see more of your excellent and top notch analysis methods.

He doesn't have enough time. He's busy traveling around the world doing events.
Just finished watching Real Talk with Artosis, and I couldn't even imagine for most pros in the SC:BW scene just playing just to get qualifications for WCG basically the only major tournament in the US.
Artosis and Day9 pave the way for most Starcraft Pros and i hope Artosis the best in his life. Also this fanclub needs to get edited and updated to the MAX.
Damn Artosis is doing a good job all by himself, huge props! I like Tastosis for what they are but Artosis' analytical skills are a bit downplayed and now there's nothing holding him back.
All in all, totally won me over today. Hope he reads this someday!
Artosis you are a handsome nerd and hands down the greatest caster of all time much enjoying ur cast right now of Naniwa vs Jaedong at Dreamhack. As a Toss, I love your stream as well. Thanks for all your great work. Best caster ever.
This guy casts 13 hours at dreamhack, flies on a plane, comes home and tells me how to do the Naniwa PvZ build. How much passion can one handsome man have???
Gotta love the passion this man has indeed Great performance at DH, hope your schedule ( and only if you want of course since you're a daddy and only human) let's you have a good amount of opportunities to cast foreign events!
Also I thought the Pikachu/Ash bit was fantastic - as was the Artosis Pylon backed up by the Tasteless Pylon ^^

so true.. I don't think anyone comes even close to him in terms of passion. I mean, there's definitely a lot people who love the game.. but Artosis is on another planet

Just watched an episode of South Park together with my brother. We are both fans of Dan and my brother noticed that one of the goth kids looks like him, was pretty funny:
You don't need a virtual ticket to watch the matches, the VOD is free, just check out the blizzcon live-stream site, and under the WoW Stage tab you should find the semis/finals of the Innkeeper's Invitational. THey were all great games, Way to go Atosis!! :D
I've inherited the fan club from old OP, who was inactive for over a year. I have begun overhauling and updating the fan club, and will add a member list eventually (will take a while to go through all 40+ pages, but I'll do it).
In the meantime, if anyone wants to contribute with assets and cool links, just shoot me a PM.
I don't know if you guys have heard this but artosis did an incredible interview with comidean/physchonaut/podcaster Duncan Trussel back in '12. I stumbled on this totally by accident today and figured others might enjoy it. It is a great talk about alive game and the future of everything. Check it out.
Been watching old casts on violetak Channel/old gomtv with tasteless, and so funny when you sometimes see artosis or tasteless in the audience so young
there is no bigger artosis fan than me. i am currently banned from his chat for making fun of incontrol but want yall to know i love this man and wish i loved anything the way he loves starcraft
I've been really enjoying Artosis's BW streams lately.
But today, I was randomly watching Costa Rica vs Uruguay 2014 World Cup game on youtube for some reason, and found out that Artosis works as a FIFA assistant referee as a side job. (31m 15s) + Show Spoiler +

Not totally unheard of, as almost all top sports are on hold there are many channels replaying key matches where something incredible happened and even with the retired pros on videocalls talking about what they felt that day, the whole build up to o just simply reacting.
