Firstly, regarding SMM, that was a long time ago and I do apologise that you have to look at that part of me for that one game. Truth was, look at the reddit replies after someone comes out and said something to satisfy himself, his ego, his pride. You could imagine when I was casting SMM, I was still a "green horn" (newbie). I read comments similar to the ones on reddit right now at a LIVE event when I should not have, and I got emotionally distraught and thus left to go to the bathroom to... shed a tear.
I learned from that and handled what I need to for GSL much better than SMM. It was a great experience, I worked with many more shout casters along the way from then till now, and each and one of them has taught me something. Some more valuable than others obviously.
Secondly, regarding moonglade and I: honestly it's my own personal relationship and I don't understand why this had to be brought up when he himself is trying to attack or question my professionalism.
We did have some issues before Korea but it was just me going through some personal issues at home and was stressed out, but it was resolved within probably 2 days of having an argument.
I hope people can understand that moonglade is a great guy and we are in a normal relationship where people fight all the time, and even more so being that we are kind of in our first year of our relationship. Please do not harrass him nor give him any trouble as he is in the midst of preparing for Blizzcon qualifiers for SEA. Thank you very much for your kind understanding.
As for Huk, I don't even know why he brought that up. I think people who have met me in real life, even fans that met me in Gamescom got a hug from me. Chris and I have been friends for quite a while now and he's a great guy. I have already apologised to Chris for any inconvinience that has be caused because of this!
Also, for other various rumors that does not make sense, all I can say is people will always be people. They love to gossip and I don't blame them. But sometimes there is a line you don't cross. Like creating lies or fabricating stories for the sake of attention. I'm a human being. I'm real. I'm not just something that you use for your amusement. I laugh, I breathe, I cry, I feel just like everyone of you.

Never before have I seen a post that dodged accusations and pulled the conversation into a completely different direction more. How can you possibly justify leaving a cast in the middle to "go to the bathroom" because people were upset with you for not even doing your job? You were being yelled at by the viewers for not even focusing on the cast and doing your own thing which is unprofessional and simply bad. Then to leave because people were pointing out your unprofessionalism isn't winning you any points.
Also what kind of reasoning is that to justify what happened with huk? You seriously just said you enjoy hugging people to explain why you hugged huk in his booth. I'm calling BS on that simply because it's obvious you went well out of your way to do that. You even made a point to go out of your way to do that. Are you seriously going to tell me you took the effort to get up and walk into his booth just to hug him? Why couldn't you hug him after the game or when you hung out with him since you're apparently such good friends.
Please, instead of trying to turn this around and shrug it off, admit your mistakes and try to better yourself because of them. You're just digging a deep hole even deeper. Also it seemed from that VOD those "rumors" were anything but fabricated. Everyone in that VOD, even the guy who was ready to defend you, all seemed to agree with what was being said. I saw nodding heads and apparently there's a story that has yet to be told and I don't want to even begin to imagine what that entails.
So I'll end with saying good luck and I hope you learned something from all of this. If not, then you deserve anything that might come of this.

The reason why people are posting here is because they know if they open up a bashing thread they will get temp banned, banned or warned right off the bat, they'd rather take the chance and post here.
It's sad how these guys are like this "Son, good luck with the ladies, be back whenever." "Daughter, be back by 6, and if I see a hickey, you're grounded for a year." That's your so called romantics in this day and age.

I decided to see the VOD instead of just listening to one side of the story. It happened just like tobi said. I don't care what she does with her personal relationships or how she treated moonglade but the way she left tobi hanging in a cast for 36 minutes was sickening and these was no excuse for it.

Also I don't agree with being able to hide behind the people who you already know support you and avoid confronting those who don't. It's a waste of a post posting in a place that already has your back. Why can't she just make an open thread to apologies if that's what you she really wants? I feel like she's seeking sympathy. It's kinda like a politician making an argument to counter what his opponent is saying but only presenting that argument to his campaign team. It's pointless and not changing any ones opinions

Well it sounds like you are someone who would just cause trouble for the community then. Not just with Kelly, voicing your opinion is great, all be it, in the persons fan thread? No, not the right place to do it. Of course the person who doesn't contribute to the community has no problem saying "I don't care if I get banned." another martyr another day, did you even read the TL rules? "Hiding behind the people you already know support you" could be the very definition of your "nodding heads of agreement" between Tobi and the other guys you mentioned. Do you agree with it or not? Coincidentally, Kelly wasn't on that show to defend herself. That could have been (but wasn't necessarily) avoiding confronting those who don't (agree). So do you really stand by what you said, or more likely, you hadn't considered it could be used against you so easily? Again, I'm not saying it necessarily(edit: intentionally) went down that way, but the similarities are striking.
By the way, I got the initial impression that they meant HuK played vs Moonglade, but I checked their playdates for GSL March. Huk vs Curious on February 21st, and Moonglade vs JJun on the 25th. Moonglade did not advance. Hugging HuK (consensually) is not a taboo, faux pas, or crime, generally speaking. I don't see any problem other than something involving a relationship that isn't my business, and they are apparently together as of now.

Meh I don't buy that excuse at all. You need to take speech classes if you want to do this seriously, being a caster and all. All you really did in your statement were confirming everything was true. You just don't do that to fans who show up to an event to watch some games you could've said anything to your co-caster but you just left like a brat. I really have nothing against you and what you do on your personal time isn't anyone elses business. I liked the few times I saw you cast Code A but I saw that "holy shit" or whatever interview and I couldn't understand anything, that can't happened when you are the one who are supposed to bring content to the viewers.

so, kelly. as a caster, she's not the best, but you have people bashing every caster out there, so it doesnt really matter how good you are. what it comes down to is if Kelly is absolutely unskilled? answer is no. people make her out to be like spore-crawler girl from MLG, asking questions like "is this your first NASL". its ridiculous.
support geek females. and while you're at it learn to accept female company. your social awkwardness shouldnt make someone's life harder than it already is, just for the sake of it. next time when u get the urge to insult that pretty girl that reminds you who you really are in real life, go post in threads like "sex=OP in the society?".
p.s. DJWheat cant control his kid half of the time on his professional shows (meaning he gets moneys from the viewership) like Live on Three, drinks beer, swears a lot, laughs like a girl, etc. so why is he questioning her professionalism so harshly? only difference is he can then say "esports, without the fluff" and get away with it all, and she or any other less popular caster can't. so its not fair fight from the get go. and yes i know he's been into esports for a decade or so, but his sc2 cast are no more knowledgable than kellys, to be honest. only more farmiliar english. not all of the casters can be held up to Tastosis/Day9 standards, people.

Why are people saying she's dodging or "not owning" her mistake when she straight-up apologizes for it? I don't understand. She said she shouldn't have done it... although the reason that this DOTA caster hates her so much is completely unclear.

This reminds me of the people who tried to cyber-bully SlayersEve out. Anyway she apologized, what else do you want? If anything Tobiwan should also apologize for creating needless drama, if you have a problem with someone you deal with it privately, not slander someone's personal life in public. If Huk/moonglade didn't want to bring it up, why the fuck is it his business?

Yeah, the most mysterious part of this is why Tobiwan hates her so much. There is so much more to this story that just isn't being discussed -- and probably shouldn't be.
But as long as the mysteries remain, people's imaginations are going to fill in the blanks... (e.g. they assume she had sex with HuK on the basis of a hug, lol -- and feel bad for Moonglade, when he's still dating Kelly!)

no it's not when you think about it... everybody knows 5/6 of TL forumers are socially handicapped teenagers who don't know how to act around women, so they take their frustrations out on the internets, post short and unnecesarry things, troll, spam, flame - and will get bored with starcraft in couple of months. while the hate they generate will remain in the society.
point is, god forbid we have a beautiful and smart female in the spotlight of sc2 community, right? it's not like we're trying to go mainstream, right?
kelly, whatever she may have done, didn't deserve this kind of bashing. nobody can deny its in large thanks to her gender. male casters that are roughly same caliber as her get ignored, but for whatever reason with her it's "let's stop that bitch"
it's pathetic.

nah, i remember several events where casters got bashed a ton in relation to the amount of viewers, gsl is just so big that it seems like others don't get bashed as much. gotta think of the % not just numbers.
