Sadly he's just not good at the most popular matchup atm and I really hope he improves it over the coming month. That said, he showed impressive TvT vs TheSTC and ScFou but he's just having a hard time with it transitioning to mech. Especially since one mistake vs an opponent who goes blue flame hellions will cost you the same while they can do anything they want. He's still young though, he has the most amazing practice partners anyone could wish for and considering how many times he has reached the finals and gotten far into other tournaments(usually losing to people like mc/mvp/nestea) if someone can come back and take their rightful spot back, it's MarineKing. | ||

I think you missed the point of my post entirely. I never raised MVP on a pedestal, although I think he is certainly a better terran than MKP. My point was that MKP was a heavily stylistic player, a style that is now mostly defunct. Although he has the necessary skills to compete I can currently name at least ten terrans who are now more solid and consistent than MKP, where as a couple months ago it was only MVP. I hope he can pick it up though, because he has given us some of the most entertaining games in GSL history. So, please don't accuse me of being high, and stop raging at me when i try to make a point. | ||

Yeah because honestly except in TvT MKP is still a top tier terran, I don't see 10 terrans that have as good vP and vZ as MKP. (in TvP Polt is better or as good and Bomber is maybe as good as him, and TvZ it's hard to say because we don't see that often TvZ and a lot of terrans struggles in it). | ||

You ignore the arguments that are convenient for you to ignore, and then make ridiculous statements about things you clearly are ignorant about. I honestly do hope marineking does well. His TvZ/TvP are still among the very best. He was unlucky he was paired with 3 terrans in a bo1 setting and he didn't play well. Gonna stand by what I said, he's still easily better than every person you listed on that list besides Bomber/MVP(who also is slumping). | ||

Dismissing an alternate opinion as ignorant or claiming some one has a lack of knowledge Without saying why or proving it... is well, ignorant. Though MMA and Ryung are both good players, they are not at MKP's level just yet, I believe MMA will surpass him one day it just hasn't happened yet. Same with Jijaki. Bottom line MKP is still a top tier Terran you can't argue with his results(Even if he is in a bit of a slump at the moment) I could argue that MVP is in a bigger slump then MKP right now and yet he is at the top of your list? Clearly you lack knowledge of the Korean scene at the moment....(Notice how I actually but some evidence for lack of a better term, before claiming you have no knowledge?) In short calling some one stupid and claiming they have a lack of knowledge on a subject, without saying why is retarded.. don't do it! Most people did not understand that the tone of what I was saying was meant to be hopeful for MKP's future play. Instead many chose to call me retarded, or some other such nonsense. I didn't post my full arguments behind my statements because I did not wish to be inflammatory. I will close as I have always, but with more clarity. ALTHOUGH I may THINK that MarineKing has fallen from top tier play as of now, it is my earnest HOPE that he ELEVATES his level of play. I wish him all the SUCCESS in the world, because I am a FAN and I hate to see him LOSE. This is why I am critical of his play, because I am a fan. If you really want to know my reasons for thinking what I do PM me, a fanclub is not the place for this shit. GOGO MKP! | ||
