Not to defend his play today because he did not play well by any means, he needs to seriously try to figure out TvT. Considering MMA and MVP are part of his practice partners I don't think that should be too hard for him.. but we'll see. I just hope he'll reach the finals in Code A, knowing MarineKing he will.

I hope you do well, MarineKing - don't be disappointed, don't bend, just hang on in and practice - you got the talent to play on top of the food chain!

![]() In my opionion Jung Hoon (MKP) is the most talented SC2 player in terms of unit control, creative openings and generel mechanics. But at the moment he plays outdated strats in TvT mid and lategame, and so he loses every TvT that goes for longer than 10minutes. I really hope he can overcome his style and become a new marineking using his strengths, but leaving his weaknesses behind him. I wish him the very best for that. GO marineking! Don't let this break you!

They practice a lot together. They are best friends. MarineKing is mentioned as practice partner in most top Terran's interviews actually, like Bomber, Byung, MVP and MMA. So it's quite surprising his TvT is this bad. Feel like he doesn't understand the matchup at all, especially with the switch to mech. At least I'm sure he's still the best player in Code A and he might take a gold if he practices hard!

He probably helped people who switched to mech to do well against the bio style since he masters it. But mech > bio lately especially with the usage of PDD and he will probably have to completely change his style in order to stay good in tvt :/.

Don't let this break you! Hey you know maybe this is just me, but I don't see anything creative about going mass marine in every single match up. While I may not be a fan of MKP he has certainly given us some very entertaining games, I just hope he takes this as an opportunity. He needs to work on his mechanics, he needs to work on different styles, and I just hope he adapts to a more solid and safe style. To me his old style has started to grow very boring. I hope MKP takes this opportunity to practice ten times as hard, because he is being rapidly surpassed by other players when compared to his former stature.

He don't need to work on his mechanics afaik. He has to adapt to the mech trend and you can't suddenly "learn" mech and do well against players that have learned it before you. About his "creative openings" he probably refers to the high number of people saying that MKP helped them prepare for their match, or Polt saying that MKP has a lot of good builds that people use. I don't recall MKP going mass marine for a long time except against LosirA, even NaDa vs MKP of GSL may was pure bio but not mass marines.
