He was good in every match-up but with bad mental strength (ie : finals vs NesTea and 1st vs Mvp). Then until the stim nerf he was kinda good in every match-up except shaky TvP, and then stim nerf meant mech imba in TvT so he lost every TvT for a while. His TvZ was at his strongest right before the patch when he was winning MLG, only DRG could touch him in the matchup.

His TvZ was at his strongest right before the patch when he was winning MLG, only DRG could touch him in the matchup. Na nearly everyone could touch him in the matchup. His wins were often narrow 2-1s... and when he lost in the past 12months, it was mostly to zerg... Since the BFH nerf he is a staple in TvT and his TvP has allways been great. He got known through his TvZ in 2010 with his marine splits but he was never as dominant in the matchup as a whole as MMA or MVP f.e.. EDIT: OK, my bad, my mind seems to have recorded only his defeats in 2011 ^^. Saw he was at 75% in the matchup in 2011, so your point there is vital. But since the new year came, he struggled from time to time in the matchup, he had just around a 50% set winrate even before the patch hit. His TvZ has been a bit shaky the whole year, just very inconsistent. Great play is followed by dumb mistakes... I don't know why this happens. Maybe he feels uncomfortable in the matchup generally. EDIT2: And to make a point: I don't say his TvZ is shit. He is very good in TvZ, but compared to his other matchups, he is not that consistent there as he is in TvP and TvT. That's all I mean.

He had a good mech, few weird bio/mech builds (see against DRG) and a decent standard play.

I thought his mech play vs curious was really good. his biggest problem seems to be clumping and getting crushed in one major engagement vs infestors or rushing a bad attack. then he plays amazing from behind but is usually too far behind to catch up

His TvZ is still very shaky... It was never his best matchup really, so even for him it kinda normalized again, since he doesn't lose to any random zerg coming around anymore... If this will be enough for DRG... we will see :o MLG final that he won, he said he prepared many builds specifically for DRG.

Sure hope MKPs got some thing special prepared for this all so inportant BO1. MKP HWAITING!!!!!!! It was always good, but he also said in a lot of interviews between february-zerg patch that he was having problems mostly against zergs. I hope MKP advances, but to me its a completely even match up and anyone can win. And I agree with DRG that winner of that match takes home the entire tournament no matter what! Bo1 Grand Final coming up.. ![]()

I instead hope for an epic, 55 minute game involving a viable battlecruiser strategy, mass queens, burrowed infestor ninja missions, a main base swap, 50 infestors at once, ultralisk/infestor/corrupter vs mass ravens and battlecruisers, and yes, an MKP victory.
