In any case, im a bit sad that he lost to Alive, he didnt play perfectly but the third game was an BO loss, not much to do about it sadly. Against Squirtle though was just horrible, he did the same strat twice which is huge blunder, especially when it's MKP who probably has the most builds up his sleeve out of any player atm. But it's true that one player can't win everything, a 20-set streak or so is just remarkable. So far he has accomplished with winning Winter Arena, MLG, 4-0 in his Iron Squid group, 4-kill in GSTL in the finals for his team, in the ro16 in GSL Season 2 atm where he 2-0'ed out of his group in ro32 and then went 4-0 in his IPL group to get knocked out in the quarterfinals. There is no stronger player atm in my eyes, gogo fetch a Code S championship now please. Marineking fighting! | ||

The "past" MarineKing could have slipped and send his troops into a far away rally point and got hurted far more by MMA's attempts to doom drop him for the basetrade, but MarineKing shut down all these attemps relatively easily with very good decision making, and he scouted the "hidden" third base really fast when he saw that MMA did not gg when losing his main production facilities. In the second game against MMA I don't know if some of you have ever played against good terrans on cloud kingdom / saw some terrans streams but losing only 3 or 4 workers against banshee harass (by MMA even more so) on this map is an amazing feat, I saw Polt demolish a terran who went for the same build as MKP with banshee multitask because the map design allows for good banshee harass at the natural and decent one at the main... It's a bit sad that he lost, but his performance was amazing .I think the players are even more scared of him in korea now, people were already afraid of him in his "slump" because they knew in practice he was a beast, but now that he can play that good in tourneys... | ||

I do agree with this, the games against MMA was spectular. I'm also sad that Marineking lost of course, I just hope he didnt take the losses too hard on himself, seeing as he lied down on his keyboard for like 5 minutes. I'd just wish everyone here in the fanclub that actually is his true "fans" were able to tell him somehow that he shouldnt be so hard on himself! | ||

almost had game 1 vs aLive in the bag, and MKP is definitely a better player than squirtle. should have gone for 2rax pressure or something, that medivac push is a counter to PartinG, but PartinG=/=Squirtle.but okay marineking, time to rally back! i really hope his confidence isn't shattered, but from interviews, MKP sounded a tad overconfident in my mind. this is a chance to take a step back, not let it get to you, and rally for more power! i want you to pick squirtle in RO16 nominations to get revenge~ | ||

MKP: 5 bases 3.5 mining 18 rax (3 were camped) ( 5 w / reactors, 13 w / tech labs (not sure :D lol)) but still in 20 sec he would have 13 marauders n/ 20 marines wich is more than enough to beat 16 zealots... with Partings reinforcements on the other side of the map. 4 starports 1/w reactor Parting: 4 bases 12 gates (cooldown) 2 robos 2 mining bases no bank So he wouldn't win a 100% i would give him around 70% But note MKP is the comebackkid - Tastless <3 And w/ his heart and determination im sure the king would take it. PS: I also hate the people who only like him becaus he is wining everything right now, but when he had a crisis nobody cheered for him | ||

As long as one player is close to dominating or being dominant these fanclubs get filled with people that will ignore the fanclub as soon as it starts to go badly for the X player. | ||

Yes! he handled the banshees so well, he hardly lost any scv's or marines. The cool thing is, he didn't even have stim, he just let his marines buffer the damage, but he divided the damage among the whole group by pulling away the injured ones. Just awesome. He could've won this whole tourney, but you can't win everything ^^ Code S should be interesting! | ||

Yeah i'm proud to be a true fan. when i was 10 i googled SC, boxer came out <3, since then i am a true fan of him thats why i play terran even now that he isn't the best anymore i still follow him on twitter and search every day for his game and i try to support him, same goes for MKP the moment i saw his code S debut, I started analysing his play and wached him as much as possible, when he lost to MMa in the super tournament, i wached this FC every day twice and hoped that someone would post the games he played, what was good, but nooo... only critics and now again (Parting...), also if there was more than one post a day in here i was sooo happy.... I also donated for MLG on reddit. Because i like to see him play if he losses or wins, but most of all I love to see his passion for this game. but some people just like winners in games, not by personallity and thats just sad... | ||
