While disappointed, Top 6 isn't bad at all in this event, seeing the line-up. I just hope this doesn't rattle him too much and does well in GSL2.

But fuck....how can people be so immature and 1 minute later go "I support esports, Starcraft 2 forever!!!" MKP, dont let this pull you down! Get the GSL championship instead! You know, I probably will earn temp ban for this but hell: + Show Spoiler + JUSTICE HAS BEEN DONE INDEED!!:D User was temp banned for this post.

And as for the best player in the world... he was dominating for a good 2 months, people throw words around. He got top 6 at one of the most stacked tournaments outside of Korea, nothing to be ashamed of. But he really is the best player in the world atm, can you tell me who is a better overall player with better results the last few months? the only close one is DRG. Whenever someone is being called "the best" people expect them to win absolutely everything.

Anyway good games today. No shame in losing to squirtle..he is top 5 toss in world imo.

I really hope he gets his mindset back into the right spot for the GSL now. He has to play much more solid again. No more fancy stuff in important tournament games please. I'm positive about his ability to improve his builds and playstyle back to that, what we've seen in the past months. As I said before IPL, he won't win it, because he will take it too easy. I know the kid pretty well, I guess. He made Top6, which is not bad at all. Now he has to come back to his dominant, solid play, and then he will play a huge role in the GSL! You have no fucking idea about what you are saying it's not even funny. MKP didn't do anything fancy, he just seemed a bit tired/worn out and Squirtle prepared very well against him (plus 2base protoss "seems" ridiculous lolol). Nobody can win everything anyways so it's okay, he can take the GSL now.

And to people saying "SCOUT DAMNIT YOUR BRONZE LEAGUE" almost no pros scout consistently outside of protoss in zvp, most of the time when a worker leaves the base, its to proxy things. Whether you should scout or not is another question, but before you go on about him not scouting, keep that in mind.

![]() So sad ![]() How many sets did he actually win in a row now? 20-ish? Just insane. His series against Alive wasn't pretty, but BO losses happen. His series against Squirtle seemed to be off though. He goes Quick 3 CC's often, but rarely does it twice in a row. Normally he goes aggro after being greedy once. Dunno. He just seemed off to me. Maybe he was tired, maybe he was shaken by the loss against Alive or the controversy around the GSTL finals, dunno, but he seemed to be off.

Nobody can win everything anyways so it's okay, he can take the GSL now. He did do fancy things to whitera and was near to losing to him. Tiredness is normally shown in mechanical mistakes. I didn't see a micro/macro mistakes in any of his games today. His control and macro was very much on top. Of course you can allways bring up those tiredness excuses. But Squirtle played a lot more series this weekend, what now? He made mistakes in decision making and strategies. If you don't agree here, well your problem of understanding the game. Also doing the same strategy two times in a row, especially if it failed right before, is quite questionable and has nothing to do with fatigue. Of course you will not see him admitting, that he took squirtle or alive too easy, that would be pretty offensive against those two. But he did this in the past, he did this before at this tournament, and it sounds like a much better explanation than tiredness or being worn out. And to be honest it's no shame at all to get Top6 at this stacked tournament. But the way he went out was a little bit disappointing.

I'm not saying that he is tired because he played too much, but tired because of the controversy of the GSTL thingy. He is a very emotional player so such things can affect him when he has to play a ST player. Who cares that he did fancy things against White-Ra, he didn't lose because of that lol -;-. Plus I dont see the problem doing the same strategy two times, (it wasn't the same btw this time it was quicker stim because reaper expo) especially considering the best way to counter 2forge is 3rd orbital.
