But I still don't know if I will do a video with the vods or with the replays, here are the pros and cons : VODs : pros - easier to fraps (will explain why later) - live commentary & public reactions (probably the real awesome thing with VODs) cons : - sometimes caster/observers miss things, no liberty with the "footage" so can miss little/cute things Replays : pros - total liberty with the footage, can put in the video everything I want that is in the video - can record his point of view. AMAZING for epic defense like the one against goswer (or the old games of CPL where he defended unscouted inbase 2gate cheese) cons: - no live commentary, only ingame sound - harder to fraps because in order to record in a decent framerate I have to set up the resolution on 1280*720 on a 24" screen 1920*1080, thus ugly screen annoying to fraps. Longer also to load every replay to see if there is something to record So I think I'll do the majority of the video with VODs, maybe some clips from replays if they are released early. It's way easier to record with fraps because I just look at the VOD and if I find a passage interesting enough I fraps it and will only have something like 1min passage each time. Plus it's way easier to convert. | ||
