Hey incontrol, I wasn't sure if you read this, but since you said you read all the MLG threads after casting I guess you probably read this one too.

So I just wanted to say I'm sad to see you "quit" progaming, you were always one of my favorite players and back when I played Protoss I always used your replays and vods as inspiration since you were one of the few foreigners to play a solid style instead of just abusing the timing push du jour. But I realize it's really tough and having you around as a caster is pretty awesome as well, I always enjoy players casting since they have so much more insight into the game compared to others, but you are someone who combines knowledge of the game with entertaining casting, and that's pretty unique. I loved your casting this weekened, and the Bomber/Goswser match you did with TotalBiscuit was the most hilarious thing I ever experienced in Starcraft 2.

Incontrol, I have never been a fan of you, but I have to say that I really enjoyed your casting during MLG Dallas. People, especially over the internet, always say when they don't like something and are way to often silent when they enjoy something. So, yeah, I wanted to be one of those who say that they enjoyed something. I really enjoyed this MLG. I enjoyed it because of the awesome games, sure, but I also enjoyed it because of your casting: I found it funny and yet very accurate with a good knowledge of the game. Thanks a lot and I'm looking forward to see you casting more tournaments. Keep it up!

in one of the mlg casts, incontrol screamed "HOLY SHITTT, OOPS I MEAN SPIT" in the game between bomber and gowser when bomber nuked himself. anybody have a vod of that? if so post on youtube that was a priceless moment LOLLLLL

Geoff, you make every event you're in something to look forward to. I dunno if its your honesty or experience in the scene or what, but thanks for making this MLG, and a metric sh*t ton of other events very fun to watch. Props to everyone involved, but I really enjoyed your casting this past weekend.

Adding to the choir here, but yeah, inControl you've charmed me as well.

You seem more relaxed now, perhaps due to things having settled a bit in life and having a set course for what to do with your career? I think getting even more into casting is a great choice for you and I'm sure you'll continue to add tons of value to the esport scene for many years to come.

Also, just as you said in that great interview with Hotbid, you got to experience a LOT of great things as a pro player and you gave it your best shot. That can never ever be considered a fail. The only way to fail is to want something and not try for it. And at the very least it's helped turn you into a fantastic caster with a player's perspective on things. That, your excellent use of English, and your relaxed personality, so... yeah, I'd call it a success!

Btw you inspired me to try growing an EG-beard like yours.. I'm a blondie as well so I figure if you can do it then so can I !! lol.
