Just saw the news...if anything, this should be a wake-up call to us gamers. I am sure many of us here spend a lot of time sitting during the day. Even though he is in shape and exercises, there is still a lot of time he spends sitting. Needless to say, I am going to be walking more now.

Sorry to hear about your DVT Geoff - keep moving around and remember to take your meds.

Anyways, here is some basic information on what a (deep vein thrombosis) DVT is:

Seems to be a lot of misinformation out there in stream chat, so just wanted to clear it up.

Feel better soon big guy - at least you caught it before it made its way into your lungs or heart!

PPS - I'm assuming they put you on Coumadin and either Heparin or Fragmin, so make sure that if you notice substantial bruising you go right back. Also, try not to do any heavy contact activities until you're off them (ie: football, rugby, etc).

Hey everyone! I've had the privilege of working with iNcontroL three times on my series "Anatomy of Starcraft." Since the first episode, we decided to start streaming recordings involving him on his stream, www.twitch.tv/incontroltv and then later upload them to http://www.youtube.com/user/Ponera86

The show is completely unique and community-inclusive. We use my expertise of comparative anatomy, entomology and paleontology to critically analyze the aliens in Starcraft and occasionally other series as well. We have a physics major to cover some crazy protoss tech and an electrical engineer talking about terran tech. We also have an english literature expert to talk about lore and a talented up and coming caster working on other projects. Check us out; we seem to be casting live with iNcontroL about once per week now.

I also want to say that iNcontroL had talked about being involved in the community and engaging fans on a very recent episode of inside the game. He has shown he really does put his money where his mouth is, so to speak, and contributed to the series despite his recent leg health nerf and knowing none of us. He was even gracious enough to use his stream to help us out and help us reach a new audience. He is a pleasure to work with and fits in with the group of regulars instantly.

We plan on working with him more and more as new series, new volunteers, new plans and more content come about. Looking forward to it!!
