"and July was never consistent enough" ??? he had 3 osl titels over a much longer time then everyone else and 1. golden mouse O_o and you call him not consistent ? you cant be gosu every day but for me he is one of the most consitent players of all time
mc is a beast but i really happy to see him v s thorzain, cause to be honest white-ra's pvp is his weakest mu and he never trained that much 4gate what he played so a little bit bad games yesterday
and also, this is a fan club guys not a place for you to debate shit. Unless your conversation is about how fucking amazing/awesome//baller/badass MC is I think your better off taking it to private messages
MVP has been known for his consistency and cheese-proof. However, he is not good when his scout fail him (remember the matches vs choya in GSL open season 3)
MC has been known for his micro 4gate unit as well as his MACRO, always a little bit faster than opponent and end up huge advantage. Also don't ever judging MC by his performance vs July. MC's voidray, colossus, HT control and multi-spot battles are all the best among protoss progamers.
I cannot wait until the day MC meets MVP at the top of tournament!

3 OSL titles in a row would be consistency
3 OSL's all with 1-2 years seperating them means... what was he doing in between those? Not winning OSL's of course.
btw ^^^ playing Hooky is another way of saying ditching school/work

When I think about MC's recent losses, it's Jinro, MMA, MarinekingPrime.. basically any terran with good TvP. MC's next opponent is ThorZain, who has eliminated FruitDealer and Tyler. It's going to be a really tough round for him. Then if he wins that, he gets Empire.Kas? I seriously wouldn't bet on MC taking the TSL.
All of Mc's loses recently against terran happened because he was overaggressive. If he plays a more solid style like in his Byun games, I think he can beat every Terran. Tsl is a bit diffcult to predict because forcefields placement is so crucial in Mc games and they get effected by the slightest bit of lag.

I think if MC prepares (which he seems to be the only Korean actually taking foreigners seriously), i'm doubtful anyone can stop him. Judging by Thorzain though ... damn that guy is good. I wouldn't be surprised if he took a few games off. However, Tyler plays a totally different style to MC, so we'll see how well Thorzain goes against him. MC HWAITING!

Yes.
He has to play 1-2 PvT's to make it two the finals. That's his weakest MU, and TvP is Kas and Thorzain's best MU by far, Kas with 65% winrate and Thorzain with 77%. (Statistically however, Kas does better against Zerg, but he says differently) So yes, MC definitely has some opposition.
I feel like if MC plays safely he can win. We saw MC absolutely roll face in TvP against MKP, Jinro, and Rain, because most of the games he went for safe macro games (mixing in a bit of cheese every now and then, but hardly to the extent of the 1-base play that he relies on way too much now), and he won convincingly.

I would agree and say that MC is actually scarier when he plays conservatively like against Morrow and WhiteRa (in TSL). His micro is superb but so was MKP's in that turnaround series in WC. It definitely wasn't the "right way to lose."

Yeah definitely but i think his confident attitude filters through into his gameplay so he is so self assured even when he is playing risky..
I hope he realises how dominant he can be when playing safely
