Do they still use gold bases in IEM? If yes, it will be hard to play MMA and DRG in that even.

Groups for IEM ^

MC will stomp Ret/Nerchio/Sound, and if he can hold the 4gate will beat elfi. Hasuobs is a bit more dodgy, seeing as his style of PvP is very safe, and PvP is so... yeah. Still, MC has very good chances of getting out of that group, and pretty good chances of getting first.

don't know how on earth would you rate hasu more dangerous than elfi to mc. elfi has probably the best pvp out of all the foreigners, he's certainly the most likely to beat mc from that group. but he'll likely beat the others.

elfi's PvP relies entirely around straight up 4gates, because Protoss are becoming more greedy in that matchup.

MC can hold any foreigner 4gate on any map other than TDA.

Hasuobs, on the other hand, stays safe until maxed. Once both players are maxed, it's all about positioning and sometimes luck, rather than unit control and micro.

elfi uses a lot of different builds... standard 4gate, fake 4gate into exp, blink stalkers, etc. he beat the crap out of huk for example and huk's pvp is better than mc's. he's certainly much more dangerous than hasu in pvp.

PvP is always a coin flip but MC is too good and too experienced not to beat most of the players in his group on any given day.

PPl keep saying toss imba. In reality, toss in 2012 has only won one tournament so far. And it was done by Mc.

DRG, your toss killing streak will end at the time you play Mc again.

well here's an argument for you

http://www.teamliquid.net/tlpd/details.php?section=sc2-international&type=players&id=640&part=games&vs=1598&league=any&map=any&from_year=2010&from_month=12&from_day=28&to_year=2012&to_month=2&to_day=25&action=Update

MC is the better player by far but he always loses to huk. as of today, MC is the underdog if he plays vs huk.

and Elfi's pvp is ridiculous, doesn't matter if huk didn't play good in those series. MC already proved that he is mortal vs foreigners in pvp and Elfi's pvp is better than Mana's.

yeah cuz being delusional is obligatory in the fanclub lol. and a bad prediction doesn't make you a fool. in fact believing that elfi is chanceless vs mc is foolish.

being a fan doesn't mean that you refuse to acknowledge the player's flaws.

I agree with msjakofsky here. This is a place to discuss MC's chances against different opponents and support him. Not to go overboard and think he's God Flash. Hell, even he loses sometimes.

I happen to disagree with elfi's chances vs MC, but he's putting forwards a strong argument.

Huk's PvP is goddamn inconsistent though. Losing out to some of the most random foreigners yet beating top level Koreans so he's a really bad example to debate over.
