From that game, it looked like MC was playing ninja toss style, like HerO. Not with quite the same style, MC still has that bold "don't come near my units or all of your shit dies" attitude, but I think that's pretty interesting:
MC was using the HerO strategy, but with his own twist on it. Definitely worthwhile watching, and I'd be interested to see if he's like this in most of his PvZs.

The funniest part is watching it from Stephano's perspective xD

I love watching MC play ladder. Without any money on the line, he actually plays a lot more straight macro than some of his tournament performance would suggest.

MC was using the HerO strategy realy? I heard this strategy belongs to SaSe. Also this build was using by JYP, who looked it from White Ra. They figured out this before HerO, so HerO not create this build.

Pretty sure the player that has the most succes with it and integrates it perfectly into the game deserves the the credit. WhiteRa barely did, and when he did he dropped 1/2 immortals into the mineral lines. JYP's first games when I saw it it was neat, then he kind of stopped doing it and Sase, well I didn't see him do it at all.

It's becoming famous as the HerO strategy, and HerO has definitely popularised it and made it into a stable way of playing far more than his competition. Given that, I think it's safe to call it a HerO strategy.

Fun fact: Min Cheol (MC's name) means Iron Man. Min = Citizen, Cheol = Iron.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

oGs vs IM doing it right now! Cheer for oGs guys!!

Mc, time to forget about those maps. Just do yr best and show your skill, do not worry about the result. You know you are the best.
|
Come on MC! You can win if you play your best!
|
Oh my god, MC Pleeease kill your blizz cup group

MC makes it to the next round in Blizzard Cup no matter what, nice to see.
edit: One day, GSL will stop having him play vZ on maps like Dual Sight and Crossfire.

If he wins the next game, he gets 2nd in the group and if he loses he gets 3rd. tbh, I do not know which is better since you do not know who he will be facing in the next round. haha

The most important thing is that if he wins, stephano qualifies but if he loses drg qualifies

He's guaranteed to advance already. Though, I hope MC gets over his nerves and stop trying weird all-ins/builds on maps that favor the opponent.

Mc showed his skill today. If not because of the maps, he should get top two.
