i don't think huk stands out of the crowd objectively ( not right now and not overall either),in fact i don't think any protoss player does. he is one of a dozen right now, a good protoss who beats good players here and there and loses matches noone thinks he should. protoss players are doing decent right now but that's only the past one month. he only mentioned MC cuz he still is the only protoss with great achievements (even if they are from 7 months ago). MC's bw career is not really one to praise;)
but anyways i gotta love his bloodthirsty rushy style. go mc go, i hope you tear the next gsl up.

Yeah I don't get why all the fanboys go around calling Huk, Naniwa etc the best Protoss in the world when they can't get anywhere near a GSL finals while MC has already won 2. Sure even if MC's results isn't as spectactular as before; it doesn't mean that they're better rather it means that there currently is no canidate for the 'best Protoss'.
In fact MC is the only Protoss to ever reach the GSL Finals (except Inca of course but I don't count him lol).

I don't know how I feel about the MC we're seeing right now. His builds and game play seem so timing based. I mean, it works for MC because his control is simply amazing, but I really don't like this style. He'll get shut down when more players start figuring him out.

He already got figured out months ago and he is still winning. Get real !!
Just like puma, just like mvp. They all got figured out but they are still winning a lot.
The 2nd game he went for a push is based on decision making which was amazing, especially he was behind at that time.
And the 1st game expand into 4 gate into many stalkers was an anti mass marines timing push build and noticed that he at the same time also quickly taken his 4 gas which mean he was ready to tech anytime. He did not build a robo but did not mean he was going all in or timing or anything.
After many pros killed, he teched and played from behind and at the time he had to tech AOE he chose HTs simply because he had not enough minirals to build colossi in time to defend. I was a bit worried because he should know bomber has many ghosts already and Mc was behind in upgrades at that time. But you know what, Mc split all his hts very very well and engage his army controled his army very well. That was an significantly improvement from Mc. (in the game against Sc in Code S, if he could do that he did not need to play in Code A for sure)
After kill Bomber's army, I was worried that Mc would go when I am ahead I kill you and just go and attack. But no, he did not do that. Instead, he went double expand behind it and rebuild his army with some colosies in it.
Even at the time he noticed that Bomber had no vikings he still fought very patiently and at the end, he had all upgraded gateway units, collosi, hts in warp prism. And if Mc was controlling that army, that army is op no doubt.

Holy crap, just watched last night's game 1
Constantly expanding behind attacks, keeping those upgrades going one after another, getting his AOE quickly, denying banshee harass. Not to mention his control was excellent that entire game with his ht splits, his blink stalkers poking bomber everywhere without taking damage, landing money feedbacks and even bringing two ht with storm in a warp prism in the final battle. That was exactly how he should play the majority of his matches.
