Sad to see idra lose, but it does showcase the dominance of the koreans (particularly MC). Either way, idra played great and would have been even greater had he not gotten caught in mind games, he clearly showed he is one of if not the top foreigner. | ||

It's a decent amount of money but it can be used to question the opportunity difference which is presented via the MLG GSL partnership Congrats to Idra for finishing 4th/5th! Hydra drops stop being good after a while. MC had like 40 blink stalkers and observers moving around, he never would have got the hydra to the third. Hydra drops are great early when protoss is still on sentry/zealot with few stalkers and no robo. | ||

I don't blame him for leaving early against MMA, he had no idea MMA would blow up his own orbital command, and unfortunately his roach all-in didn't work in game one vs MC and in the second he got walled in. If he just watches out for those pylon blocks, maybe tries to prevent it by watching what the probe is doing and placing a few drones in those key areas to prevent construction he should be fine. Watching this MLG i feel like Idra has become a totally different player, he's improved in so many ways. I've always liked him but now he's getting even better. Definitely looking forward to his future games, I think he could truly be the best foreign player out there, and that's nothing to be ashamed of. He's gone further than any sc2 foreigner has playing what was considered a weak race by many professional players...so anyways I don't want to get into that too much but great games Idra! | ||

In their first series, IdrA showed that he could take MC in straight-up macro games and win (don't give me this bullshit about how MC was jetlagged, IdrA kicked his ass straight up). In this series, he roach-ling all-ined the first and third games, left prematurely in the second, and then MC, to his credit, outplayed IdrA in the 4th despite IdrA playing a much better solid macro game. I believe had IdrA chosen to play safer macro styles in the first and third games the outcome of this series might have been different. | ||
