Cheesy protoss.. bahahah 2 all ins by idra not 3 at their last bo7 match. Idra defeated himself this series, mentally he seems to be getting better at it though I just hope he keeps improving it because seriously an Idra with a good mental set would be like 100 times scarier to play vs :D

1) Didn't see his drones on gas (assumed drop cleaned up the line) 2) Didn't know MMA's CC at his gold was, in fact, his 3rd (He had scouted an early 3rd CC and assumed it had moved to another base). Therefore, Idra assumed that the gold base was MMA's 4th base, and a 3base terran about to get his 4th up has insane production. 3) Didn't know MMA had killed his own CC at the gold 4) Like any good zerg should know, another reinforcing army will be the likely follow-up to any Terran's initial push. With nothing but ~10 mutas left, a GG would have been inevitable if things had played out in a NORMAL scenario. This game was anything but normal. I think we can all agree on that.

You still have to wonder sometimes how some of the games would turn out if he stayed in them a while longer. Often his leaving is probably just prophesising a later loss, but just once in a while the other player would make some bad calls and it'd end up being won.

True but why would you quit before you see the reinforcements? I hate that Idra thinks he knows EVERYTHING about the game and can predict the outcome mid game. When guess what you cant. Simple bad engagements, miss micro, clutch scouting, etc ALL can take a full lose situation into a full win. Idra simply thinks that every player can micro and keep up perfect when really, 1 mistake and the game is even again. Amazing first game Idra had though(on Friday), showcased exactly how you CANNOT predict a match up just based on the first 10min of trading armys.

Idra's biggest downfall is that he has too much faith in his opponents to do "the proper thing" or what he would do in their situation, but in reality they make plenty of mistakes.

That too, but he still tilts to easily, and it is more often his own head that defeats him than the actual opponent

but: Never ever have i felt sooo emotional, so exited, so many nerd chills before. When Idra plays, he just changes the whole internet: He gg's against MMA -> on all sc2 forums there were atleast 5 threads with the title "WTF". He gives Mc the finger -> all the selfproclaimed psychologists try to analyse the situation. And when he wins/losses something big -> TL crashes Idra is unique. He is a real mysterie and very very exiting esport-figure to follow. Thank you Idra for the super awsome mlg event this weekend and congratulation for the 4th place in mlg. You did really well. (ps: 1st post FTW)
