Personal attacks in this thread will draw a temp ban. |
lol! so not only do they have an awful stream they don't enforce the rules. I was curious at the time if there was any rule about chatting and there you have it. Kind of lame nothing was done.

The brackets would have been the same. HOWEVER! Extended series would have put him in a better position. If IdrA plays HuK again, he will be down 1-2 and match will be best-of-7
|
Man I hate extended series. What a terrible, terrible concept.

So what you're saying is those 2 games he lost to Huk changed absolutely nothing in his placement and people should stop flooding this thread? OK!

How did HuK have 6 game losses when he only had 2 match losses?
|
But the one game he did win against Huk does change things, otherwise there might have been a round robin playoff between the 3 players.
|
Because he lost one game to Gretorp, and one game to Idra, and went 0-2 vs both Socke and KiwiKaki.

Oh yeah, jsut because he WON a match doesn't mean he went 2-0 xD thanks

Ahh, thank you motbob, so that one game doesn't matter at all, Idra could have gone 0-2 and still had 2nd place.

If that was the army comp during the fight, then Huk wins that every time.

game 1 of IdrA vs HuK, IdrA played it PERFECTLY.

All of the hard work and professionalism that others try to exhibit are ruined by hot-headed unprofessional acts like what we saw on live stage. How do you think Stride gum or Dr. Pepper see the F Bomb being dropped when their name is all over the place. I bet they don't like it at all.
E-Sports isn't as big as it could be because there aren't more people like IdrA. How do you think Stride gum and Dr. Pepper feel when everyone looks for IdrA's game to watch. How do you think they feel when people tune in just to watch IdrA? All of the hard work and professionalism that others try to exhibit go un-noticed because everyone is here talking about IdrA. I don't see a thread talking about how pleasant Tyler is.
I haven't been able to watch the stream reliably, so I haven't seen much of the games, IdrA's games are the only ones that I've actively searched for to watch. I will venture a guess that I'm not alone. Do you think Charlie Sheen is so popular because he's all cool and nice and mannered and clean and straight? LOL People want to see the stuff that IdrA does. They love it.

Unless I'm mistaken just had a look through the Teamliquidnet twitter posts and it seems like the one before "people want to see a game 3" was that they were both mining from 2 bases. I feel HuK would of been more cost effective from 2 bases as he doesn't have to throw his units away to deal damage.

Does anyone know where on the MLG site to watch game 2 of Idra v. Huk? The replay is missing for some reason

Unfortunately, positive thinking does not give you enough units to win a game.

Thanks a ton for this link! I'll attempt to do a little analysis Pausing the VOD at 9:07 we see the units tab for the last time. We also get some information from Day9 and djWheat's commentary about the compositon:
HuK
1 Immortal 6 Zealots 6 Colossus 10 Sentries 19 Blink Stalkers 6 Hallucinated voidrays 1 Hallucinated colossus
+2 ground armor +2 shield +3 ground weapons
IdrA
3 Infestors 50 Zerglings 12 Broodlords 8 Corruptors
+2 air attack +1 flyer carapace +3 melee attack +3 ground carapace
Notes Day9 days there are enough energy on infestors to throw down some fungals djWheat says the supply is 182 to 155 The blink stalkers had just used blink and were seperated from the colossus and sentries.
I will see what I can do in the unit tester, and report back
