There's no doubt that he's a really good analytical caster. He could correctly point out when the game was at a "breaking point", I'm thinking of the Nydus in the first game of the Qxc vs Kane game. If he could just add a tad of energy when games are getting to the breaking point, he'd be all the more awesome. It's like, holy shit this is very important what's going on here, the way Idra is talking.

I really hope he can achieve something like Grandmaster with all three races. I don't know if it's possible, but that would greatly contribute to his overall knowledge of the game and keep him in touch with the meta game, allowing him to keep giving spot on analysis. Not only that, maybe he could compete a bit more in some tournaments. Now that he's a free agent and no longer under a team, he can do whatever he wants. If he wants to compete in a tournament, he can, if he doesn't, he has no obligation to.

Would be so cool to see IdrA kind of get back into the scene in a few months with Terran, of course that's just a wishful dream.

Well, the microphone is from those shitty astro headset he had to use, while he was still on EG. He always had troubles with that piece of crap. Buying new quality stuff will fix it automatically for sure.

Loved Idra's casting of SHOUTcraft America. Pairing him with a good high-energy caster like TB is a very good match for him.

If there is another event that Artosis attends without Tasteless, I would love to see IdrA try casting with him, Artosis is good enough that he can be both analyst and create hype both at the same time, like we saw when he casted with Apollo. He also has enough knowledge to ask interesting questions, which IdrA would be awesome with imo, if they paired up for something, I think I would have a nerdgasm

Idra and Artosis? That would be really, really great!

I actually think that they did cast something together recently, or it might have been a show or something. But I do believe that they did produce some sort of content recently, I shall attempt to dig that up.

The one thing i hope is that he will never be "excited" as other casters. It adds nothing to the game, for me. And idra certainly is not the type to yell and drool all over a game, and that's good. We've got enough of that, what SC2 needs are casters who actually know what they're talking about without having to improve their lack of knowledge/bad calls with yelling and slobbering over cute micro.

Keep it up greg, leaving EG seems to be a wonderful thing toi do.

Idra was a guest on Artosis' show, Meta. Episode 4 i think it was.

Edit: oh day9 actually... I'm not going to complain. as much as i like idra's casting, it's not yet as good as day9's or artosis's. Even if his analysis is a bit better, he still doesn't have the overall ... sauciness that established casters have. Casting isn't just pure analysis, you have to add something else. Analysis is important, but it doesn't make a great cast. a great cast is a combination of different things that idra still needs to acquire. ^^
