Someone interested in the notoriety I guess, people aren't exactly lining up for his fragile and inconsistent skills.

I hope that IdrA pursues casting because he's a fantastic caster.

I'm just going to quote Incontrol here: "Show some god damn respect". Fragile skills? Excuse me, game 1 against Polt was fucking brilliant. One of the best Terran players in the world who almost beat Life almost lost a game to someone with "fragile and inconsistent skills". On top of that (lol again with the incontrol quotes) who gets the most eyes on them for going about their daily life? If you make a post on TL does it shoot to the top of reddit? If you say 1 thing on stream does it go to the top of reddit? How many tournaments have you casted? He brings attention to everything he does and any team would benefit from having him. Sure he has some issues, but he has the makings of a great player, and he is a real eyecatcher for teams and sponsors.

No he hasn't said anything so far. I guess we should give him some time.

He has changed his twitter profile to "Starcraft2 progamer" from "EG Starcraft2 progamer".

Which means very little.

Keep in mind he was recently temp-banned from TL as well for something he said. So he may not say anything directly, at least here, until tomorrowish.

Plus, he may be taking a little bit to figure out what to say and how to say it.

I'm not a fan of Idra, but I don't wish him ill. Hopefully he'll pull out of this and go on to do whatever he wants to do, do it well, and be happy doing so.
Yes, I email sponsors... to thank them. Don't post drunk, kids. My king, what has become of you?

Yes he was good game one vs. Polt. Yes he is absolutely atrocious elsewhere, often against "lesser" opponents. Please look-up the definition of inconsistent.

Have a good day.

Very much doubt that. I dont see why any Kespa team would want IdrA on their roster. I dont think he has that many korean fans.

On top of that, he doesn't really have what he needs to perform on a Kespa team at this time. He would definitely benefit from that kind of environment and training schedule, but I don't think he is even at the point that he deserves that kind of team based on recent performances.

No matter how it turns out, this is a good point in time to get shit together.... or race change to terran. I wouldn't mind him playing Terran one bit.

KeSPa may be wanting to get more into the foreign scene, if somone signs idra then they immediately get all the foreigners watching them

He was on cj for 2+years. There's no problem with him joining a leaps team, it's a matter whether he wants to

Im thinking more of the fact that most Kespa teams are sponsored by korean companies(afaik), so obviously they want players that are attractive to korean fans. If IdrA is not as popular over there he loses a lot of his worth to them.

When he was on CJ he was there because of his BW skill, he was the best foreigner in the world then. This is not true for SC2.

Perhaps, but many kespa teams do not have international sponsors, just korean telephone service providers and such.

Im going to remain positive and think that IdrA changing his twitter from EG sc2 progamer to just sc2 progamer means he wishes to stay in sc2.

if they wanted to try to get more international (i know T8 has had sponsor problems) then IdrA is the perfect face to get it

how ironic would it be if Idra wound up joining T8 though

Maybe it would also help with his mindset? I know KeSPA values professionalism highly, maybe they could help his attitude some.
